Covering My Gray Hair With Henna and Pomegranate | Deep Red Henna Color & No Orange Tones

- Hello friends, and thanks for being here. Like I said, I was looking for ingredients that I could add to my henna to darken the color so I have been playing around with a couple of different things and doing some tests. One of them was black walnut hulls which was a bad idea. It contains a chemical called tannins that is unsafe and it can irritate the skin. I did a batch test, and sure enough it gave me a bad reaction. So please make sure you do your research and test for any sensitive reactions before you use anything on your hair or body. I felt I need to share this because not everything you read online is true and everyone is different. With that said, OMG! I absolutely love this hair color! I've gotten so many compliments on it and I'm not sure if I would ever get bored of it.
Recipe:
I made about 400 grams of paste this time, which was definitely too much for my hair, but now I have extra in the freezer for future hair touchups.
Mix A: 200 grams of henna
40 grams moroccan red clay
10 grams Aloe Vera powder
Pomegranate juice mixing
Mix B: 200 grams of henna
40 grams moroccan red clay
10 grams Aloe Vera powder
Pomegranate peel water for mixing

The last time I tried this, I ended up eating the pomegranate. I regret nothing.
I don't blame you 😂 Luckily we have a pomegranate tree in the back yard, so I had enough supply to use for this henna paste and to snack on after. 😋
@@RoseBaby
That IS lucky 🥹 what I would give for a whole tree 😩♥️
@RoseBaby you mentioned freezing the leftover dye, can you do a video on the follow up and using it? On any effects doing that may have?
There are many wonderful and exotic ingredients that you could add to your henna paste. Some will add a beautiful tone to your color and some may NOT make a significant difference in the staining power of your paste but they may be interesting to experiment with, just remember that the quality of the henna you use is key for getting the best results. I left you some links to my favorite products in the description box so please check it out if you need any recommendations. ❤❤
I love you your change my life with the henna in my hair thanks for make videos about that 🎉
@@aguapilar3176 I’m so glad you enjoy them. 🩷🩷
Such a great idea, all natural is the way to go. Awesome!
Best henna tutorial EVER! ❤ THANK YOU
Don't use conditioner as well to reduce the tangles. Instead use 6-7 drops of coconut oil as both henna and coconut oil would go hand-in-hand. Coconut oil will help henna to oxidise to get a darker tone. You will realize it once u try. In India, afte applying henna on the hands and post washing, we used to apply 2-3 drops of coconut oil and it ll attain its max dark color. Same with hair as well. I am not asking to soak but just apply 6-7 drops after u towel dry and then comb. Ul get tangle free and darker tone.
You look wonderful! I so want to try Henna!!
I’ve watched a few of your videos and I appreciate you for them. I intend on doing the henna with beet powder and hibiscus powder. I love the deep burgundy red color and if I can achieve this I will be extremely happy. I could no longer do dyes as my hair didn’t wish to tolerate chemicals. I hope that herbs don’t perform like chemicals when trying to go red they say the molecules are big and that’s why it doesn’t last as long as the regular colors. Again thank you…looking forward to seeing more videos take care!
It looks great! I use pure henna to get copper hair. I tried to use a hair dye once and I didn’t like the feeling. Henna is amazing
We love your henna hair videos. I also henna my hair with natural henna. Enjoy your weekend 😊
Thank you so much. It’s my absolute pleasure to share this journey with you all. 💞
As a Moroccan... Peel of pomegranate is always present with henna preparation. You can also use camomile powder and fenugreek powder and honey for light henna colour....
I also apply henna on my eyebrows and they are all thick and great.
@Notionado if you eyebrows are dark.... It gives them some shine but if they are blond it sure will redden them ... But then again it will match your hair tint
@Notionado any time
Thank you for sharing

Hi, did you see a lot of thickness in your hair after using henna? If so, is it noticeable thickness which you feel and others & you see? Did ur scalp get more amount of hair?
Your hair is so shiny in all of your videos. How do you get it that way?
Take half kilo of beetroot and grind them and take it juice add it into heena coffee decotin and also add twenty five percent indigo .
hey i love your videos i use hanna with pomegranate and onions peels however i have curly hair and henna makes my curls a lil loose , do you have any suggestions on what to add to henna or do , here we put henna and the next morning we shake our hair till the big chanks of henna are out and then we stay with the henna for an other two or three days , so i wash on the third or fourth day and i rewash after two days with shampoo and apply a hair mask that is suitabel for my hair
you look amazing lady
You are very sweet. Thank you!
Btw, how often in a month, u would apply henna? Or weekly once? How long an application will last in your hair?
It's better to use only peels for decoction and drink the juice.
I like your vlog can you make this heena vlog again?
Aapne जो cooking ceramics pot use kiya hai o kahase purches kiya hai link please
I have a question I dyed my hair with henna and indigo 2step process in two deffrent days first I did henna and washed off and then I did indigo my hair has a dark reddish brown color i would like to know if I want to dye my hair again with henna in like 2 weeks can I do it will it make my hair more darker since I am trying to achieve a uniform look for all of my hair I have prematurely grey hair mostly both sides in the front. Please let me know if also I should do the indigo again or just henna should be fine. Thank you.
I only had a pomegranate juice
Is it true
Hi mam, What kind of conditioner are you using
Hi there. I'm curious, where are you from?
Can I use pomegranate store bought juice?
Do you have to use all wood when mixing it? If so what wooden bowl do hiu recommend? So do you thaw out all the Henna from freezer when just need to do a touch up or do you out it in smaller portions. How long to thaw it out?
Любую.Только не железную!
What co wash do you use, because the amazon link is not working! Thank you so much 😊
Thanks for letting me know. It’s the Mielle Organics Sulfate-Free Detangling Co-Wash.

Hi I came across your video and your channel today I am definitely going to try this I have some premature greying so I try to die naturally with henna. And I want to know are you Egyptian ?
That’s awesome. No, but that’s close, I’m from Syria. 🇸🇾🥰
@@RoseBaby thank you for the reply. I have a Egyptian friend that you reminded me of 😊
Is adding indigo to henna to dye the hair bad in anyway? I couldn’t find any information that it’s harmful to health.
Whichone do you prefer? Pomegranate or beetroot?
I really like them both, but if you want a bit darker tone especially on gray hair try the beetroot juice, because I believe it gave a little darker shade than the pomegranate.
Hiii but after wash beetroot colour goes right away...it's not strong like heena...what do you suggest ma'am? I use heena n don't like the orange colour,I want deep brown colour or atleast jet black...plz help me
@@karunarai2880 For dark brown or black color you have to do the 2 step method with henna and indigo. In this video I explain it ua-cam.com/video/133TqqQ7NF0/v-deo.htmlsi=dcaJ_vLpedmf0CNo
Maybe henna in your eyebrows cause white hair becareful
