    Ending inflammation.
    1) Nutrition.
    2) heal and manage chronic and high stress. Allow recovery and rest, nurture the parasympathetic system. Change your environment. End toxic relationships. Quit toxic work environment. Change toxic environment.
    3) heal your immune system
    4) change the relationship with yourself. Change your beliefs. Stop taking care of everyone else. Stop trying to meet the perceived expectations of others.

There’s no need to make it so complicated or try to codify it.
People have had “miracles” at tent revivals, reciting mantras, sitting with Christian Science practitioners, reciting Emile Coue’s affirmations, Wiccan, Huna, and practicing Kabbala.
Anyone who says, “This is THE way” is trying to sell you something.
The common denominator running through all these is a chord with three strands: desire, belief, and imagination.
I experienced what was a miracle to me when I lived on fast food. A friend had a total and lifelong healing of stage 4 testicular cancer while living in a cannabis-induced stupor. Cannabis is a potent anti-inflammatory but also dangerously immunosuppressive.
I have a data-base of more than 3,500 case reports of spontaneous remissions and there is nothing that suggests there is a list of things one must do and boxes to tick off to be healed.
I wish there was but there’s not.

Omg at 52 minutes i stood up and followed the directions. When i stepped to the right my cat, who was asleep on the back of the couch meowed. I stayed with it stepped back to centre cat meowed ! He kept doing this until minute 55 when i found myself with a black furry scarf ! I sat down laughing with a very smoochy cat. Until I came back to myself. He got agitated staring at me and furiously wagging his tail. Hes now back couch curling up to sleep. I'm really enjoying your talk. Thank you both. (I might try that stepping thing again tomorrow.)

I am still waiting for a phone call for 25 years. I had a miraculous healing from a Cancer there is still no cure for. Many doctors examined me for 7 years after the spontanious remission. All just stated that the Cancer would return. I was in my fifties at the time, I will turn 80 this year. Cancer has never returned. Pluss ,,,,,,,,,, I pass all 3 of your criteria.

Absolutely beautiful and amazing. At last top medical people are realising - and proving - what healers and complementary medicine therapists have been saying but couldnt prove to those medical people. Wonderful that at long last this is getting through. Perhaps we might have medical professionals before too many years pass by, who work on the whole person instead of isolated bits! Ah, Bisto!

I just found you yesterday, dr. Jill! Couldn't be happier. Huddling is the new cuddling! Maybe you can can your next book a Stroke of Genius! Thank you for making your pain your purpose. Do you feel it might be more than a coincidence that you had your stroke at the very time of what topic you were studying?
Also, have you drawn any understandings btwn what may have caused your stroke and what behaviors (eg., 4 pillars of health) helped you to rewire or reactivate the damaged side of your brain? Or do you think it was enough to just have no sense of stress in your life?

Great conversation. I found that practicing dry fasting a couple of days a week really HELPS balance the destructive cravings of a bad diet. Definitely! You can be happy in the eternal now with the approach of less is more, but study it first and do it properly would be my advice. I love talks like this, so helpful to us all. PS I also suggest people study the work of Dr Robert Morse in Florida and get on a simple sugar (not complex) diet of raw fruit. But Dry Fasting is the best and there are quite a few books on this to help.

Many concepts in this talk. Strokes, nutrition, micobiom, inflamation, manage stress response. Dr Bolte Taylor has made a second career from her misfortune, public speaking. Her stoke in left brain, plus lots of sleep, gave her temporary bliss by eliminating a worrying world. More complex seems changing our relationship with ourselves. (4th pillar) knowing our value....

Tibetan Buddhism and the connected practices cultivate exactly what Dr. Taylor is talking about at 30:30. "PRACTICE" they call it, Practice meditation on the conceptual thought of "self" studying on the FACT that there is no such thing, your ego dissolves. Gratitude for our human birth and ALL things being interconnected is bliss. What am I practicing, ask yourself. Really look at the things you are doing every second. That is what you are practicing,,, is it health? At 23:50 they bring up a different way of saying "what are you practicing every second?" Practice and meditate on LOVE and COMPASSION and you will become happier. Conversely Practicing things like self loathing, judging others, watching or listening to the "news" and absorbing the division, hate and fear agenda they spread (both "sides"). Then you will have no choice but to habitually and unknowingly be practicing these things and WE ALL KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN PRACTICING THINGS A LOT....? We become REALLY GOOD AT THEM. Just sit with your mind, knowing your true nature is amazing and good beyond words and watch what happens. With out our mind there is no universe so why wouldn't you take the opportunity to sit with arguably the most powerful thing in the universe, your mind. EYELUVYOUALL

I would love to know what she thinks about Near Death Experience! Are they right brain originated?

    • @abracadabrascotty
      @abracadabrascotty Рік тому +1

near death experiences occur from a LACK OF BRAIN ACTIVITY, it is not from a left-right brain condition...one could think of it like this:
consciousness is what u are, light is how this consciousness expresses itself, when light hits a certain degree of polarity due to magnetic fields it becomes compressed into a state of light that we call matter...
that matter then becomes our bodies and brains, and the light which animates that state of light energy called matter is called electricity...
and then when there is a DISRUPTION OF THAT ELECTRICITY our eternal state of being, consciousness, becomes our "default programming" state of being once again...
it's just like Einstein said energy cannot be created nor destroyed it simply changes form endlessly...
the compressed form of energy we call human, the uncompressed form of energy we call light...the animating force for both is light...one form of this light in non polarized, while the human being form of this light is called electricity...
and that's WHY the human being form of death is defined as the lack of electrical current or pulse activity...
but of course u cannot die, u can only change form endlessly...and that point that we call death is when the atomic form ceases, and the non atomic form simultaneously begins...

I can't give up Haagen Daz or Ben & Jerrys!! hahaha! (i only eat it when its on sale though, don't need to wreck my health AND finances!) But I think in the US there is so much garbage and unpronounceable things in the food, and what they feed the animals,it is almost impossible to eat healthy. Not too mention I have found when I am over there,is that many of the things in the over priced *Healthy Food* stores, are the same as in the regular grocery store, just more costly. I am lucky that I live elsewhere, but I feel bad for anyone who can't grow their own over there. What are they to eat?
I loved Jills book, which I read after my sons stroke. He also had an AVM,but there were differences. Sadly the doctors and therapists here seem to be so far behind the times, or don't bother to research. I have always believed in the power of the brain, and raised my children with that sort of thinking,so when we were told he would NEVER be able to do certain things, the first thing to do was to prove them wrong. However, there are others who just think that the "professionals" know best, and they don't even try. It was frustrating dealing with the alleged experts. I am sorry for the people that do,because then they do not bother to try.

    • @Dani-ef3cf
      @Dani-ef3cf Рік тому

I'm sorry your son went through this. I say everyone is limited. Including the 'experts' are limited by their own teaching programs and environment/exposure/experiences.
They know 'cases' but not every individual is the same.
1)We must challenge our self. Like you did with your son. They do not know what he is capable of achieving.
2)we must never give up! Science is constantly changing! Today, is not the same as last month.
Finally, I live in the USA 🇺🇸 and have healthy foods without raising my own.
We have plenty of fresh food, farms and markets, so on. It's a choice. Drink soda 🥤 or water which is healthy. Don't let perception misguide you. Best regards.
