I talked to a campus recruiter for PwC and she convinced me to apply to the risk assurance centre of excellence internship instead of the regular risk assurance internship. After doing more research it seems that the regular risk assurance internship is better. What do you think?
Hi, I have 11 years of work experience in finance, accounts, audit, direct taxation and indirect taxation domain. As well as payroll. Worked in industries like BPO, Manufacturing, Construction and Advisory firm. My qualification is Postgraduation(B.Com and M.Com) Is there any possibility of getting a job in the big 4?
Hey, thanks for the questions. All the Big 4 offer pretty similar services. In terms of Tax, the main sub-departments are Corporate Tax, Indirect tax (VAT in the UK), Transaction tax (could also be part of the Corporate Tax), personal tax services for high net worth individuals and HR tax support for organisations. There may also be some other smaller tax teams but these are the main ones. You can join the tax team directly in full time permanent positions, as a tax advisor for example and they even offer internships for university students. I made a video about the services of the Big 4 offer: ua-cam.com/video/oXWLabk6IJE/v-deo.html Hope this helps 🙂
