Unbelievable that a 1998 model had that advanced navigation and infotainment system. Really ahead of its time, and even today has some really cool features! I have the same system in my 2006 es330 and 2005 Land Cruiser. Also a similar system but slightly refreshed in my 2008 LS460. The same basic system was so good that they used it all the way from 1998 to about 2012 until it was replaced with the new system. Lexus was so far ahead of the competition back in the 90s and still are today.
That doesn’t mean the system was that good 😂😂😂😂. Toyota is just THAT BEHIND. we all know Toyota and tech go together like oil and water. It was nice for the 90’s and 200-3 but after that , no. By 2005-6 the 300 had its nav system , and other cars as well.
These are BY FAR, the best bang for buck bulletproof suv atleast in my country, between 3000 and 5000 euro for one with decent mileage 2002-2005 with all options included, i'm trading in my P2 v70 for one.
Thank you so much for showing every feature! My mother called me out the blue saying her mechanic has this car for sale and that he would hold it for me. I've searched all the videos for this. I appreciate you!
Hey Ashanti, it's no problem at all. I'm glad I could help. These cars are really great vehicles. If you are able to find one in good shape, buy it right away. They will last forever. If you have any questions about them, feel free to ask. I have had many of them and know them inside out.
I have the Japanese version, love it but options are optional, mine has non of that but it’s an imported one from Japan with all metric so when I got it the owner thought it was 120k miles but was kilometers, it’s a coach edition with AWD love it but with I had Nav
My light went out on the navigation screen. Do you know if it can be fixed. I have to turn the brightness all the way down and then back up just to see anything and it’s literally just for a second.
@@beastslayor1017 I greatly disagree. Ironically, I am currently looking for another vehicle after driving my 2001 rx300 for 16 years. It costs around 50 bucks using premium or mid grade gas to drive a mere 250 miles city/hwy. Other rx owners had the same complaint.
Haha I average 17.5 mpg in my 04 330. I think you must have a lead foot. My truck gets 11 mpg and that goes down to about 6 hauling my trailers. A rx is average in fuel consumption

Oh this isn't a 1998 it's more like a 2002 but still really advanced

Wow that's a nice one. I didnt know navigation was an option on any rx300
Only option it seems to be missing is the upgraded nakamichi stereo

@@matthewmilton9320 good guy!
The japanese version of that car had more options still

Given the interior trim and features, it's likely this is a 2001 to 2003 model year.
Great review, should have included the exterior of the car ! Still available?
I love it since it works nicely.
Are you Ray Romano?
He is selling Debra's car
😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
kevralph 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Saabkyle04’s sister had a 1999 LEXUS RX300 with NO NAVIGATION Option I think 4.0L V6
It's a 3.0. that's why it's a RX300. Otherwise if 4.0 it'd be an RX400.
Does it have a charging port or a electricity circut of any kind?
Nice Time Machine
This is very helpful
Thanks Marleni. I'm glad that you found the video helpful and let me know if you have any questions.

Does this car have a CD player?
Yes, it has a CD changer in the glovebox.
What year it is ?
What about Bluetooth? Does it have Bluetooth?
No.
You neglected to mention that it's a tremendous gas guzzler but everything else is good.
Considering it’s a mid sized suv the gas mileage isn’t that bad

@J. Carson Yep. Get ready to tap your wallet after a mere 250 miles to the tune of about 50 bucks a fill. Enjoy
