Haha just caught the end... would have never guessed that was just a piece of cardboard you were shooting against! Awesome work man. Love seeing some of the behind the scenes stuff
Awesome video Raymond! I'm at the point you were a couple years ago with your equipment, a DSLR and a point and shoot. Your past videos inspired me that storytelling and will is all i need to create good content. Keep it up mah dude!
Don’t get me wrong, I am too fascinated by it. But it’s like having a choice to buy a lambo or a Prius - they both get you to the same spot but the other option is more cheaper and viable
Gday! I'm a half Filipino travel vlogger who cant speak tagalog.. but I'm planning to come to PH this year and learn what it's like to be 100% FILIPINO! Kabayan! I was wondering what are the best beaches/mountains to discover in PH? #RoadToPinas!
Such an upgrade from your previous equipments video! The equipments you have now are really cool! 👌 And if you're ever in the Manila and need a tripod, let me know so I can bring mine so you don't have to buy hahah
Awesome vid! I have recently bought a gimbal to up my game for cinematic and to try it out as i hv been using handheld + canon whch doesnt have inbody stablization. This has limit my movement of shots. Although it is an extra gear i feel like it might be worth it esp looking at your cinematic footage. Again awesome vid bro!
Never the best idea to take stuff you don't need when you're doing your best to travel lightly. Guilty as ever with bringing too much gear back in the day too
Excellent man, did you use all this stuff for your last travel video you made? keep thinking about if I should go get the crane 2 a store has one for sale down the road for 622 USD and I’m so tempted but don’t know if it will get used much!
Yup, I used everything except for the Tascam mic. Crane 2 is great for camera + lens with a heavier load, so if you have that just get the crane 2 just be aware its heavier and bigger to hold onto
Raymond Nguyen cheers man! I’ll see what happens the setup I have now is light but I reckon I’ll want to upgrade soon! I’ve been quoted 70 pound difference between the crane V2 and Crane 2, was thinking the crane 2 would be a steal at that price difference?
Yeah that's a steal - I'm looking to move over to the crane 2 as well. Some of my bigger lenses won't balance on the v2 so I reckon its better to just get the crane 2 if you're planning to upgrade your lenses or even camera
The comparison from your gear video in 2015 to this one is crazy, the price disparity!
My boi got rich
Absolutely love your videos man.
Haha just caught the end... would have never guessed that was just a piece of cardboard you were shooting against! Awesome work man. Love seeing some of the behind the scenes stuff
Haha - yep always has been cardboard
As a aspiring beginner travel blogger, how many pieces of gear would you recommend for a beginner? And what cameras, etc?
Nice edit!
Hey ! Love the video man, what backpack are you using (not the northface one, the bigger one) ?
Awesome video Raymond! I'm at the point you were a couple years ago with your equipment, a DSLR and a point and shoot. Your past videos inspired me that storytelling and will is all i need to create good content. Keep it up mah dude!
I still use just a camera and a wide angle lens for my vlogs most of the time - that’s pretty much it. And that’s awesome dude - I’m glad to hear it
It’s sooo cool to look at gear. If gear doesn’t matter, how come I am so fascinated by it? Good work man!
Don’t get me wrong, I am too fascinated by it. But it’s like having a choice to buy a lambo or a Prius - they both get you to the same spot but the other option is more cheaper and viable
Damn bro.Why are you so underrated

Big upgrade from your last gear video! 👍
Such quality content!! Youre so underrated.
How is the 10-18mm on your a7sii? do u still use it despite having the 16-35 since the 10-18 is an apsc?? Great content btw
Yeah man I still use it due to it being super light weight and supports my gimbal. The quality is just the same tbh. I put it on apsc mode
Such an upgrade from your previous equipments video! The equipments you have now are really cool! 👌

The Zhiyun Crane is great - so light to carry. I would recommend it
the best Channel everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
i liked seeing this video. keep going 👌
Ah yes, I remember the original video. I loved it so much. This is just as good
👌🏻✌🏻
I need to start minimizing the amount of gear I have when I travel. Seems like I take a lot of stuff and only use them once or twice in a 2 week trip.
Never the best idea to take stuff you don't need when you're doing your best to travel lightly. Guilty as ever with bringing too much gear back in the day too
Philippines number 1
It was an incredible place to go to!
❤️❤️❤️
Hi there, how did you get the money to upgrade your gear? It's quite a big jump from your old camera gear video
Work
