In the middle of the grunge era. #1 on the billboard chart.
I remember they had a campaign for weeks to get all of us 'metal heads" to buy Far beyond driven the day it came out.
I saw this tour. Pantera = always amazing. Hard to believe it has been 20 years now since we lost Dime.....

I remember going into my local music shop.. and seeing the film clip for 5 minutes alone on the tv. My drummer at the time and I couldn't believe it, as that kind of music was never played here. It was such a great time. Never really to be replicated again, sadly...

I was going to say I remember skipping school in 11th grade 1996 to go buy The Great Southern Trendkill. Also the year I saw my 1st concert ever August of 1996 at the Minneapolis Target Center Pantera's Great Southern Trendkill tour with White Zombie Eye Hate God and Deftones. I'm usually pretty good at guessing these kind of things but this one has me stumped.

I cant thank you enough for lugging your video camera and risking the chance of breaking it by brining it in the pit and recording the whole set I would give my left nut to see Pantera and it looks like this is the closest ill ever get so once again thank you.
