They really greased that landing! Watching it again,there seems to be no crosswind-the trees and bushes are dead still,which helps keep landings on an even keel,but still a nice landing.
Actually the restriction is for when 40 degrees of flaps are extended on earlier Cessna 172s as it blanks out the elevator. Later models were limited to 30 degrees of flaps.
