I first worked with Festool tracksaws in 2000 in after moving to Berlin, Germany helping a friend remodel an apartment. Very impressed with the quality and ease.
I love that your first two cuts with the jig saw were used to remove the bulk material so there would no be tear out. I would have foolishly tried to hold the cut off in place and make only two cuts with my jig saw. I learn so much from watching your videos (even the shorts). Thanks!
I invested in a festool plunge saw just over a year ago. It has absolutely revolutionised the finish to my work. An amazing piece of kit & the best on the market. 👍🏻
I've seen them use this cutting guide dozens of times, just like I've seen your videos dozens of times. However, no one has ever shown how. Is it magic!
you getting the new one with the scoring blade I am getting it for sure with the digital table saw I have finally broke down and decided to get that table saw
Man do i love that festool. I cant count the number of times that puppy has saved me from additional work. I literally cannot count the times. Cause i don’t have one. Cause I’m broke. And i want one.
Woof. That's quite a bench. It's pretty big fun watching you enjoy it all! Really very nicely done, Bravo! One wonders how much time it takes to produce a short... Can't be easy.
All I care about is the simplest action of cutting most of the floating falloff off first. Amazing how simple, obvious, and often never done that action is.
I love your videos! Nice to see all the joints you make, the cuts and tools you use! Do you have a video explaining how to measure and cut correctly? Especially the marking and then sawing on or next to the line? To be able to saw precisely?
Thats a great trick you used with your jig saw ! Thanks , never thought of doing it that way , But its better than how I have done it in the past , , starting a radius cut about a 1/2" from the end of my mark .
Nice, but I would probably route that out with a simple home made jig and finish internal corners with a chisel. Thus saving a shed load of money and 100% accurate. I have made my own tracks for standard cordless saws. But as everyone knows track saws are for those that can’t cut a straight edge. They weren’t around when I was learning.
*Gets out handsaw to do the crosscut, makes a cup of tea. Saves $1000
I thought it was a bit overkill also. Nice japanese pullsaw would have done it for $40
Your assembly table is great, it doesn’t get enough credit!
Thank you very much 😁🙏
You must be a millionaire with all them festools 😍
The right tools makes life a lot easier and makes for a better experience when working.
As a late bloomer..just got into wood working 20 years ago..That tool looks real swell. And that table..wowsers.

Not only a nice set up but a professional that knows how to use it.!!!
Awesome stuff. Fun to watch a skilled Carpenter at work with great tools. 👍
Actually all those tools remove the skill.
@nicholasdaub8765 that's one way of looking at it..I guess hand tools are the real test
@@nicholasdaub8765 Who cares. This makes your life much easier.
It’s amazing how professional you are! Congratulation
I like how the camera zooms in (not for the mark) for the Festool logo lol
I would love to have a shop with all those tools someday.
The extra steps you take set you apart! 👏
If ‘perfect’ was a carpenter 🖤

Thanks 👍 I am happy to hear that.
I liked this too
I'll try and remember this going forward

Yes totally agree with learning a lot from your videos. It’s not just about the equipment. Appreciate the videos.
Glad you like them! 🙏
I love your videos, I often discover features of my festool tools I didn't know before.

Mans got festool shoes 😅
You got the tools for sure
You have a great lumber source.
I've seen them use this cutting guide dozens of times, just like I've seen your videos dozens of times. However, no one has ever shown how. Is it magic!
Your workshop really is like heaven on earth 🤣😉.
I could watch this guy work all day
That is one nice slab of Douglas Fir.
Work of perfection
Men, that Festool its awsome.

Very nice cutting tools
Loudest sound of all the festool gear is the castors on the vac😅
Very nice cut. EVERY millimeter counts.
Love the track saw
Excellent
Incredible work...Jesus wow❤❤

I love when you chisel the wood by hand ❤
Thanks
Very nice
Your living my dream
Wow sweet
Dream shop
I've been in woodworking most of my adult life. I'd kill to work in your shop!
Dust collection on that FESTOOL seems amazing.
Hope i can see the table review, love that ❤
Do want that stop on the plunge cuts. Learned that on the first day with my new saw.
Man you got a badass setup bro
When those blades, bits, saws, knives get full I'd love to show them some love, TNT Sharpening
All I care about is the simplest action of cutting most of the floating falloff off first. Amazing how simple, obvious, and often never done that action is.
Wow ,sir ,You are a true master
I love your videos! Nice to see all the joints you make, the cuts and tools you use!

He makes it look so effortless and easy
How much prize
You have the nicest tools I’ve ever seen.
Thank you very much
Thats a nice saw
WOW wonderfull work
Thank you! Cheers!
Best skill & Tools
Mate, you are a freak, your work shop is unbelievable....
wow, so skillful lol
Why aren't you using festool hand chisels?
They gave me some?
Maybe next year?!
Thats a great trick you used with your jig saw ! Thanks , never thought of doing it that way , But its better than how I have done it in the past , , starting a radius cut about a 1/2" from the end of my mark .
Been a fan since the beginning.. but a smaller track saw to make a 1 1/2” cut? When you brought the jigsaw out right after?
You’re telling me festool doesn’t have chisels?
They invented this drillpress that can do square holes, imagine a circular saw that makes 90degree cuts in every direction
What brand chisels do you use?
Excelente
I really liked how you did it but I think there was a easier way
Festool
This guy has the nicest looking lumber i have ever seen
Festool sneakers even!?!😉
Those tools are wonderful but quite expensive
So?
More Festool tools than Festool itself😂 nice
What is the brand of your chisel set
A German handgrenade as a mallet, nice 🤌
I love just how silent your saws are.
Guess everyone is not as perfect as you are
Is that a Festool chisel as well????? 😅
Does it always plunge to the guide mark regardless of the depth of cut.
So that's how it's done. Thanks.
does your awesome bench have a prefab top or did you drill all the holes yourself?
I drilled those. Some I did with a CNC. The rest I did with a drill and a Drillmate
Did you give your Carvex the pin fix?
