I really like this! At the beginning, when you were making "crispy edges", I was hungry and thinking about pizza. I started laughing. Sure enough, when I got my pizza out, crispy edges. LOL. This really is a great project for the larger legal pads.
A wonderful project, MaKala. I'm thinking of adding a calculator to mine. In addition, instead of using cardstock for the outside, I'll use Bristol board. This way, I won't have to join pieces. Thank you for sharing. Greetings from Barbados 🇧🇧
Thanks so much for this great video. Your instruction are always clear and precise. I love the way you explain why you are doing something; it makes a big difference in perfecting our craft. I've been looking for a long time for a video for the large legal pad. I am so happy I discovered your channel. 😍 While shopping for my cardstock, I found that Micheal's is selling Recollection's brand 65 lb wt cardstk in 12 inch X 24 inch size!!!! 👏This was a pleasant new discovery for me. Using this size made it much easier to create the folio.
I am so happy you like this project, I think it came out beautifully. I have to look for the card stock you mentioned, this will be great and so much easier for these large projects.
I love watching you work; I have a question about your trimmer. Is it also a scoreboard? It looks like mine but I can't score well with it, just wondering.
Thank you so much. Yes, my cutting board is also a scoreboard, but I also don't like to you the scoring part of it. I am using different scoring board as I think you noticed, I use the scoreboard that is so much easier to read.
Since the legal pads are so big would it be possible to use posterboard instead of cardstock (2 pieces)? I just wondered as I was watching your video. Because isn't posterboard like cardstock only bigger. Maybe. I don't know. I also have foamboard that I've used in many different ways. Just a thought. I really like the detail you go to describe each step of the construction of the covers or folios you make. Wonderful teacher. Thank you.
I am sorry but magnets were too weak and I end up using Velcro dot, I think you missed that part. I did not want to provide information for something that did not work for me.

Poster board will work beautifully, I didn’t have it so I just used what I had in my stash.
I did not see a link for the magnets
