Hi!
That's actually an interesting question.
I haven't tested PS5 controller, but if the controller uses XInput API or DirectInput API it should be possible to work correctly.
So far... I have tested controllers from: PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S (also elite controller).
It seems that as long as your controller is using any of the mentioned APIs it should be fine. I personally recommend XInput, because I have programmed the tool to lock its API in order to prevent input errors.
The keyboard also works.
