Usually i skip through the parts when they are explaining the sponsors. But Greg is such a helpful youtube that I just listened to him talk about the sponsor.

A lot of your tips and trunks helped me get recognized at a tryout here in PA and got me onto my first D4 team. Thanks Greg!

Having a back player that talks is one thing but the front player has to trust him so he can just worry about his job. Good tips I’ve watched since you started doing these vids and always helps me out.

I love making a call out and hearing them respond with kill the bunker I called so rewarding.

    Greg: “Communication is key.”
    Boyfriend: “What’s wrong?”
    Girlfriend: “Nothing, good night.”
    Boyfriend: 😐

These are definitely some advanced level communication tips. I'm back center player on a D4 team and we still sometimes struggle with maintaining communication through basic callouts like: "He's in D2", or "I'm pinned", or "home's gone, kill 3". Let alone trying to tell my front players where I'm shooting or what side of the bunker to wrap on. Things get crazy out there and sometimes I just need to stop rolling my gun in order to hear and understand what the guy next to me is saying. IMO, simplicity is key with communication on the speedball field so if you can, try saying something with as few words as possible. Maybe these types of call outs work well for higher division or pro players since they know what to look and listen for already, but for the majority of players starting out I would try to keep it as short and simple as possible when making callouts.
