After so many videos, YOUR tutorial for the granny square had me successfully completing my first one with variegated yarn. Never thought it would happen after trying for many years. (Embarrassed 😊) Now I need to work on perfecting it, make a bunch of squares and see what comes next. Yay!!!
brilliant tutorial! you made it easier for me to understand & now the penny has finally dropped! I only learned 3 days ago and ive done 2 medium size granny squares, but also doing a piece with just rows of individual varied Crochet stitches. I am working on grannies though mostly as I'm making a blanket. Thank you

What is funny to me is that when my mother, who is a left handed person, taught me the beginning of crochet when I was little. She taught me left handed, even though I am right handed and to this day, it is the only way that I can do it. Crochet is the only left handed thing I can do. Too funny, but also precious because it is a little piece of her. 🌸 Great video this is my first view of your channel. Really good. Thanks.

I have wanted to be able to crochet a granny square since I was a child but being left handed nobody could teach me without us all getting frustrated in the process. My mother is right handed and so was my grandmother who could crochet perfectly. Anyway since I watched your tutorial I have been going great guns and am well on the way to my first rug. What yarn do you use? For some reason I cannot get my head around the beginning of crochet. I can do the slip stitch and the chain but then I get stuck on which part to go through. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks
