A year ago, but wow. I liked the 80 to 82 t birds. I still have an 88 mazda mx6 gt turbo, original red paint, in stick great to drive what is now a classic.
Congrats on getting monetized. I know this is a business and you're selling these, but I really do appreciate that you do a great job video documenting these underloved cars of the 70s and 80s. Always enjoy your videos, man!
I appreciate that! Wish we could have gotten monetized a bit earlier.
@@christianbugatticg agreed, yes. He's very thorough. He has to be though. If he didn't include an eyelash in the front seat, he'd be lambasted. You know how people get we with a keyboard in their hands.
How cool Christian. You mention you don't see any in this condition, never you mind that, you just don't see these at all. Doesn't peak my interest to bid, but still, man what a treat. Nice chatting with you the other day.
You will have to go back and watch this when the quality hits HD. Usually takes about an hour. Thanks!
@@christianbugatticg of course. I'm very much looking forward to seeing it.
used to have an 81 cougar XR7,, i paid like 600 bucks for it,ran like a charm( for a while...lol) back in the day
NOW LIVE ON BAT!!! bringatrailer.com/listing/1980-ford-thunderbird-3/
The clock, if you don't know by now, but I'm sure you do, but you need to put a pen/pencil point to those to black buttons you see in the upper corners there to adjust the time.
@@christianbugatticg Let me know if it works. I couldn't understand it back then as to why they did it that way. Really weird.
255 or 302? nice car burgundy is always a sharp color on square body cars
Did u have the302 in there?.
@@christianbugatticg these cars were underappreciated when new, but now to see one in exceptional condition is a rarity. they were very high tech in their time. besides the digital dash and clock, you could get intermitant wipers, cruise control, power windows, doors, trunk release, tilt wheel etc. The thunderbird above the glove box would light up when you had the lights on. They also had automatic headlights that would come on when it started to get dark like the Cadillac's Twilight sentinal.
I think this generation of T Birds is one of the better ones. Much better then the 74 to 79 boats that Ford was offering back then.
Bill you getting buffer? Or just tighter shirts?
Lol! Always shop in the kids department if you miss a work out! Hahaha!
I had one of the 80' it was a gas guzzler but my friend who bought it from me wrecked it it was a third owner car raspberry in color with a white landau top i leaned on the idea of a supercharged cleveland under just put a newer 7 speevd automatic behind it does advanced adapters company still exist
Hey Bill, forgot to mention this when I commented on the other video you have for this Thunderbird. Everytime I see these (ugly, soory) 1980-82 T"birds, I always thought that the top of the dashboard, with the black stripe hiding the idiot lights, and the ledge under it, looks like it comes directly from a 1974-1976 Caddy.
Infact, that may be the only think I like about this generation of T'Birds.
Would have liked to have seen the entire interior of the vehicle.
I have a full walk around video of this car inside and out!! ua-cam.com/video/asjBpD0lmz8/v-deo.html
Put on a talk radio station b4 you shoot these videos, so u can show the radio works, not that I don't believe ya...lol
Oooo from Canada!🇨🇦 I had this very year of T-Bird, base grey-black with painted roof, bought used. I loved it! Among the most comfortable back-support seats I can remember in 25+ cars.
Nice!!!
