People can hate all they want. I've been using nothing but everlast welders for almost 5 years. The quality is great and the price is amazing AND the inverter machines all come with a 5 year warranty. I can't even tell you how much wire I'll run in 5yrs. For that matter I'm going on 5 yrs and never had to replace more than tips and nozzles. I'm glad to see some other ppl getting on board with the green machines.

I can't believe how much the miller dynastys cost these days. I would definitely go this route. You could buy three of them for every Miller.

I bought my Everlast over 10 years ago and haven’t had one problem with it. Replaced the torch with a CK, and got the Nova pedal when it came out. Incredible value for what I’ve been able to do with it.

For the money and the 5 year warranty they are very hard to beat with the capabilities they come with. They have way more adjustment than the average person will ever need.

Any of the everlast or ahp products are really a good buy. You can’t go wrong. I literally bought my Lincoln 210mp for 1000 after rebate when they fist came out and sold it during Covid for $2500 insane what red and blues cost these days

I have a Everlast 221 STI and "LOVE" it. I have had it just shy 5 years the warranty goes out in Aug. I did have a issue it stopped welding right on 110. It would hardly lightarodand on mig it just made melted lumps that I would not trust to hold a floor pan in. It ran spot on with 220. But I was helping a buddy and we had it on a light duty cord because he told me had a big cord but you know how that shit goes. I told Everlast what it was doing, they told e they could ship me the part and I ould install it and mail the old one back, of I could pay t ship them my machine. I took option #1 and had the part in 3 days and it was working fine on 110. They had great UA-cam videos on how to change parts. Lessoned learned and a god tip. If I am going to use it on 110 I take my 220 drop cord that has 10 gage wire in it plug my welder to my drop cord and then my drocord into their pigrail to step it down to one 110v. That said these IGBT machines are loaded with circuit boards like a 1000 times more than desktop computer, when you pull the cover. So My last point to anyone that has any brand IBGT or older Mosfet welder's is they require clean crisp power with no surges and no dops. In other words no generators unless they are inverter units that make make clean energy. It is in the manual and they claim it voids warranty

My only problem with my Everlast, which is why I’m switching to Miller, is not because of Everlast quality, it’s because Everlast is on the West Coast, I’m on the East Coast and their aren’t any dealers that have knowledge on Everlast around me. This became a problem when I needed help with my machine and realized Everlast and I are on different time zones and I’d have to keep shipping the machine back and forth to get diagnosed. Ended up being that the points gap was to large but I was able to fix that easily. Another downside, is the resale value isn’t like Miller where people are willing to pay because of the name. Went through a lot of people wanting to get this from me for next to nothing. The last complaint which is fixable is the torches are kinda on the cheap side to what I’m used too. The dinse connector is built right into the power cable. If the power cable goes, you have to buy a torch directly from Everlast. The fix is to buy a CK water cooled dinse and a ck 20 series torch. Make sure you get the nova upgrade as the standard pedal is not the best.

I bought a 210ext this summer, learning to tig has been a real fun adventure. So far love the welder being easy to navigate and try different settings on little projects. Part of me wishes i went one size up but the 210ext is all i really need for race truck stuff. Next purchase will be the water cooler and torch. I think in a few years once i'm decent at tig ill upgrade to a larger unit. The new models will be out in full force by then.

210 is good for small stuff like sheet metal, materials up to 1/8 thick. Exhaust manifolds, exhaust pipes, body work, craft work, light fabrication and the 210 fits that bill nicely. 255 is good when you start getting into the 1/4 material range and structural stuff. The 210 is a great machine. I’ve used all of them. 210,255,325 ext but ended up getting a 255 because all I had was a 30 amp dryer circuit in my garage.

Looking at the Black Friday deals I was going to pull the trigger on a 250ex (knobs don’t scare me) but for only $100 more I think I might have to do the 210 EXT instead. I have plenty of power in the shop so the 110V part isn’t important to me either.
Mostly doing typical auto body / racecar work. Nothing crazy or production work.

I’ve never used a TIG welder before, I learned on a MIG wire feed welder and got very good with it. I would probably suck at using a TIG welder and It’s been many years since I’ve welded. My question is can a MIG welder be used to weld Chromoly steel or is a TIG welder the only route to go for Chromoly?
    Pros, cons, or reasons… thanks.

The original one I bought off Craigslist we used for about 3 years then I sold it to a buddy. The 315 we have has been in service at the shop a year and half. We weld rear ended housings with it every day and the only issue we have had with it was the sticky gas valve.

Welders normally have a ridiculously long lifespan. Had a old time friend who fought me to weld, has had his htp for over 15 years and still works with it every day. If you take care of your tools they will take care of you. Only issue old machines have is if the motherboard goes out. Replacement parts are hard to find. I know miller parts are scarce on the old machines

Great welders if you get a good one! 80% you'll get one that will have zero issues. If so it'll be rock solid. If your unfortunate enough to get one with issues, then your on for it. Customer service is complete s%$^ !! They speak to you as if your lucky they even speak to you at all. It's a hassle to get any help. You'll pay a third of the machine cost in shipping to get it serviced.

@@andyjanes6858 Got rid of it but still purchased it, supported a manufacturer with products produced in China.
I agree to support our country, American made products & the small mom & pop businesses.. but when you come across a great quality built product sold by a company with amazing customer & product support, then why not?
There's a lot of beginner welders that can't afford an expensive welder or multiple cheaper single process welders.
The Everlast welders allow a beginner or someone starting up a welding/fab business to own a piece of equipment that won't leave them broke or having to buy a new unit within a few years because it breaks or fails.
It's ok to not support Chinese manufacturered products/companies but keep it to yourself.
TSR started out in a home garage with two young talented guys that needed a quality machine. They found that in the Everlast welder & they continue to support the company because of their personal experiences with them.. not because they are endorsed to do so & I appreciate that fully. We read reviews and do research on products to help decide what the best product is for our money & that's what TSR is doing here.
