- Khalsa Aid is delighted to have established a bakery in the Pesh Harbour area, about 35 km from the Kurdish city of Duhok and 10 kms from the Syrian border.
Khalsa Aid, with the help of its generous donors, is paying for the machines and 4 staff members, 3 of which have been hired from the refugee camp itself. The estimated cost of the entire project including the machines and a minimum 6 month commitment for the running costs is USD 65,000.
We are grateful to Joint Help For Kurdistan for their wonderful support.
The Sikh community is a blessing of God for the human race... Lots of love and respect from Assam to my Sikh brothers and sisters ♥️

During my studies , I went to Kolkata in the year 1981 on an educational tour. . There were 52 in our crew plus our our professor. We were given free lodging and boarding in a Sikh Gurudwara in Kolkata. In a far of city from native place , it was a great help financially and we did not have the burden of spending too much for staying and on food ..We were looked after well with warmth and hospitality in the Gurudwara.
I was waiting to pay back this to the Sikh fraternity and on 2014, I could donate to a Gurudwara of Bangalore . I was so happy with a sense of accomplishment on the patronage Sikh community extending its service to humanity in various part of the world .Long live the Sikh community , I am proud to be born Indian wherein brothers and sisters of Sikh community live . Jai Hind .
