A Fan Mod for the school of dragons revived project; SODoff. Replacing all 24 night light painting in the shop with the black and white themed skins including;
- Thunder
- Father Nightlight
- Mother Nightlight
- Shadow
- Goggle
- Splattertail
- Elder Nightlight
- TNR generic nightlight 1
- TNR generic nightlight 2
- TNR generic nightlight 3
- TNR generic nightlight 4
- Bowl cut
- Siamese (White)
- Siamese (Grey)
- Tux
- Grey
- Tapir
- Banded
- Black head
- Zebra
- Nightsealer
- Magpie
- Light Fury
- Night Fury
Download Instruction:
1. Locate the nightlight skin folder. It should be at (Main Driver)\Users\ (Your computer username)\AppData\LocalLow\Unity\JumpStartSoD\dwdragonsskinsnightlightdo ,if the folder is empty. Run the game and load up your nightlight with the painting skin on first. It can be the dragon you own or within the shop
If there are more than one folder, choose the one with latest date or time
2. Rename the __ data file inside with _data.orig in order to back the file up. then minimize the folder
3. Click the Download Link, then click the green download button, choose the location you want to save your file at (Should be different from the dragonskin folder!)
4. Right click the file, press extract all. you will get the folder name NLskinpack1
5. Copy the data file inside, go to the dwdragonsskinsnightlightdo subfolder you have minimize then paste the file
6. Open the game and the mod should now work

Can you make a night fury skin with similar patterns to the Tapir one? So like, make the base color darker and slightly blue, then add the patterns of a slightly brighter color;
In a way it looks more like Toothless's design in the 1st movie! I'd love to see it!
The reason why i pick nightlight is because i dont have new toothless model available i could paint on. But people has gotten into modding lately i believe it wont be long until someone would make toothless pattern🙇♀️

Well you can still try doing it on the NightLight, like this one 1:49 here but make it darker and with spotted wings
(if you search some GOTNF shots and some scenes in the 1st movie you'll have a good reference of the patterns!)

helloo, I have a question. How did you toggle the animation shown here: 0:22 where the dragon roars? :)
I use the mod call blazingtwist (can be download from the same server). Ctrl+p for free camera. Shift+1 to enable animation player and choose the one you want (in this case it is called celebration)

Currently, if you are in the sodoff discord server where you download sodoff there is a video tutorial in the mod submission channel. I will still record the new video tutorial here but it might take a while.

with what you make a mod? What apps do you need?
Any art/photo editing program would do. Also UABEA to put the file into the game www.youtube.com/@nocnafifi/videos has the video tutorial you need. I learned it from there too and start making mod of my own. (Additionally, Blender and Assetstudio while not necessary, are handy too)

@user-jm8eb6 if by simple painting the texture over the old one then yes you technically can though i am not sure what folder would the clothing be in. If by changing the model entirely though i'm not sure...i dont know how to do it

I have a question, will dragons from the nine worlds ever be officially added to the server?
@masterk5474 right now the emulator is focusing on making all the previous stuff work so there is no promise for new stuff but its also not off the table (but that is going to take a long time) Although for the mod side of things, the misttwister has already been added!
Can I have this on my phone?
You can but you will still need PC to connect your phone to when you first install the mod. The instruction for mobile installation is in the description
