While we are saying we need to build this build that build factory.. but who is going to do that ? Half of the youth is out of country… Government can only build infrastructure but we need youth to run the Nation now… And they are coming forward to build Nepal and its feels happy 😊

We shouldn't be focusing on hydro power only. We've immense potential in wind power as well. Many countries which are technically and economically weaker than Nepal operate nuclear power plants as well. Modern power plants doesn't produce toxic radioactive water too since they don't come in contact with uranium fuel and they're safer as well. A nuclear power plant wouldn't just safeguard Nepal's energy security only but also its strategic security as well. Its just my opinion tho. They're very expensive but a wise investment too.
Actually we don't need Nuclear power plant if we build full potential of hydro,Solar plant,Wind Energy,Pumped hydro it's more than enough for our country we can even export to our neighbouring countries. But don't know why gov and nea just focusing in Hydro only.
Given that we are rich in water resources, we should centre our focus to produce the quantity required for internal comsumption only. I dont think we will prosper as a energy selling country. Our neighbouring countries where we are planning to sell electricity always seeks for cheaper options and in near future lets say a decade later electricity might be a costly source for at least industrial levels (increasing concerns regarding hydrogen ). So the ROI might not be fruitful.
Having people with potential is one thing but using that potential is another. That potential has been draining since ages. We are technically way far behind. Hydropower kills vegetation, hydropower alone won't solve Nepal's issue. That is a one-directional way of thinking. Besides that, India and China are working to be self-sustainable in energy, so by the time we are ready to export, our neighboring countries won't be needing it from us.
if Nepal builds the dams for export now, it will be able to use the electricity for energy-intensive industries even if Bangladesh, India, and China don't need to import energy at some point in the future. these large neighboring countries keep building coal, gas, and nuclear plants as well as wind and solar farms, so I imagine they will still be eager to import clean electricity for a long time
