Getting the bug and fish books from the museum is a game changer!!!
I avoided these since I thought it was like the plant book. I thought it would just identify the specific bug or fish you were directly looking at. Holy cow! I can go fishing for big loot fish super easy now. Makes finding a specific bug or fish for villagers a lot easier too. No idea it was gonna pop tags above every critter in a radius.
You should take that pic of John and put it on a sighboard in front of his store, and put one up on the museum wall
Makes way more sense to me to sort by item type and place them in chests near where you will want them most often. I doubt you'll be wanting something and know off the top of your head what color the background is to know where to look, and the item mix by background is weird. Chests aren't hard to get from the mines so you can literally have them in every area you use to make the stuff you use nearby handy.
I'd put all basic mats like logs, ingots etc by the crafting area. Two chests for food, one for raw and one for cooked. One for your drops like gears and discs. One for tools on side of the repair table for ones that need repair. I'd put one for flowers and seeds. One for building mats like pathways and fences.
The only things I'd store in the house at all are clothing, extra box of fresh tools, and a chest for personal "toys" like your boogie board etc to save having to run up there so often.
I can understand your thoughts on gaming to entertain. It makes more sense to me now.
We're different kinds of gamers. I'm personally entertained by efficiency.
I play games like this to be efficient as possible, and aesthetics mean nothing to me.
I can respect that you're speaking to a different type of gamer than myself.

Thanks for your streams of this game. I am really enjoying your play-style. It is a good mix between caring about what is going on and enjoying the cosmetics and the new people (without fawning over everything like a weirdo) and actually getting things done and trying stuff out. YAY!
A lot of streams are people either just blowing through everything at top speed or taking an hour to talk to one person and do a couple things total. Plus I love your little doggie! Mine is camera-shy too :)
You can plant the glowing mushrooms as they are just like the trees and bushes and they will look like they do in the mines!

I am loving how the town is turning out. I am loving the pier idea it's going to be awesome when it's done. Such a great series. I can't wait to watch more.
Suggestions: The expanse of water under the bridge. Make all one color of dirt under the water and then spell out KANZ in the alternate color. I.e. make dirt all red and spell with sand color or vice versa.
Build a hedge maze with the golden roo statue in the middle.
You should get the jackhammer for the mine and go through the walls and mine nodes since your time is limited in the mine area.

if your using alot of palm wood paths dig them out when your busting the barrels in the mines, less wood for you to chop and less crafting. theres so much just in your trip this time would of covered the rest of your pier
Exactly, and no one noticed he wasted a ton of it putting it under clovers whole store, could've left it dirt and the building would have covered it up
New residents always seems to be closed the day their buildings gets finished 😂
After watching you hunt for Iron, I am super glad I found a chainsaw in the recycle bin... And there is a "non aggro mobs in the dungeon" mod out if you do mods at all.

Please wear your glasses always if it helps you! I wear glasses every day and can't imagine spending hours without them. I can see but as you say it gets rougher on the eyes and head. I know to begin with I was unsure and didn't like how I looked with them, but if you're getting headaches due to it you really should wear them.
You can try to order some contacts from the internet. It might give you less of a headache. I have no idea, since I have glasses for back-up, but I've had contacts since I was 13 in the early 90's. You can find sights online where you don't need a prescription so you don't have to pay for a doctor's visit.
If you already know your prescription, you can try the same one on your contacts. The main brands used to come in different diameters and had some other specifics like the size of your eyeball, so how curved to make it etc, but I guess they found that 99% of people all use the same diameter and the same arc, so they're pretty easy to order now. You can always try. I think one pair of weekly contacts from a major brand is like $20, so maybe you can give it a shot?
