My grandma used to say “ the rain it raineth every day, upon the just and unjust fellow, but mostly on the just because..the unjust stole the justs umbrella” Happy chopping those deep green fields of food! How exciting to see the results of your hard work together 😄
Your old man is a legend am on my couch with a hangover from hell and after listening to your father talking about grass has somehow cured me brilliant guys
Aloha Tom. Just finished your book. Couldn't put it down. Enjoy every page. Thanks for taking the time and effort . Seeing I'm 71 years old doubt if I make it to you farm. With your videos and reading the book I feel like I've been there. Please keep up the good work. If you need a Name for the Girls, my daughter s name is Samantha. God Bless Jimmy
Great to see such a healthy relationship between father and son. Make the most of your time together for tomorrow is never promised. Let your loved ones know that you love them every day.
I always love the surprise of a Sunday video!! Tom, you are obviously one of those guys who has a favorite shirt and won't give it up no matter how ragged it is! LOL I LOVE mowing and tedding and chopping!!!! PLEASE show us as much as you have time for. I know it's hard dealing with the camera and the mowing, etc, but try.
Hey Tom. I believe the funky farmer has thrown a challenge at you in his most recent video the funky farmer is back. I'm sure a lot of your followers would get a good laugh. Show us your best move mate.
I've lived in South Lakeland all my life and never really paid much attention to what the Farmers are up to, let alone appreciate the technicalities; it truly is fascinating!
Did you hear the one about 2 fellas walking through very tall grass and they came across a hole in the ground. They argued whether it was a well or wild animal burrow. One says we’ll toss a stone down you’ll hear it splash. Nothing. Tossed a bigger stone. Waited. Nothing. Hey, give us a hand with this massive railway sleeper...we’ll definitely hear that! They heard it rattling and banging down the abyss...nothing. Then pounding of feet and snorting and this massive massive billy goat charged them!! They each ran opposite directions to see the beast take to the hole! Told you it were hole of a beast! Then sound of a Ferguson tractor and farmer turns up. “Have either of you seen my pedigree goat? Had him chained to a railway sleeper”?
Hoping too visit farm shop in August when we are down from Scotland for the air show in Blackpool. Love your videos makes me feel close to my papa who was a cattle farmer. Who I sadly never got chance to meet. My dad and his siblings all grew up on farms 🚜
Great video tom, good to hear dad's extensive knowledge of grass. Watch them holes with the mower. Great looking crop. Hopefully you get a good amount of grass.
Grass the golden crop! Thank you for the very interesting discussion. I’m a country person, regularly walk the hedges and footpaths around the farming village where I live and just learned even more interesting facts about grass. Going out to look for seed heads….!
I didn't realise there were animals digging holes in the fields. That was a big one. Hope the inhabitant doesn't stick it's head up as the mower goes over. Love your videos.
Great video Tom! Loved the crop walk with your father definitely some seas of grass out there. Be interesting to see how it all goes with the plan. Keep up the great work!
Nice shirt… 😉Old favorite and friend? The grass looks amazing. So glad the weather is being kind this year. With shortages it’s a good year to have a grass surplus. Looking forward to digging into your book this summer. Thanks.
Great silage walk with you and the Ginger Warrior your Dad is so passionate about his farming .💚Grass I luv the smell of cut grass ! Happy mowing men 👍
Another great video, I'm in arable farming, so no grass and livestock, very interesting to see what you do and could listen to your Dad all day, he explains things very well(not that you don't) all the best, happy farming👍

And in sunny Sydney we have had our annual rainfall (45 inches+) in the first 4 months of the year! But still not muddy , it drains super quick.
I've lived in South Lakeland all my life and never really paid much attention to what the Farmers are up to, let alone appreciate the technicalities; it truly is fascinating!
