This video is what I have wanted to be able to seek like in forever. It is crystal clear and you get to see the whole race. Thanks for taking the time and posting.
OMG...that little Horizon ran 16.81 with a 6 on a 16.82 dial-in! Can't get much closer than that. Stock Elim is awesome. Thanks for posting a great video. Semper Fi!
bought an S-10 over the winter, and waiting for the season to start. This makes my blood circulate straight to my right foot! I would PAY for vids like this.Thank you so much!
not everyone has money to do wheel stands this is the best drag racing around.. all that matters is having a consistent car and getting a good light. watch top fuel if u want good fast heads up racing
I'm just saying, this is the same class where the Ramchargers used to face off against Mickey Thomson and the like. You should not be able to show up to the NATIONALS in a stock Toyota Prius and win. I still maintain that if you want the class to be fair and affordable for the drivers, make it a mandatory 1995 Altima class. Or just run one-at-a-time so people don't get confused into thinking that these time trails against oneself, complete with shifting into neutral at the end, are races.
When a 16 second car makes it deep into the Nationals against cars that lift the front wheels through the 60-foot, I officially call bullshit on the rule. I understand it makes the playing field level for the drivers, but at that point you might as well hand everyone a rental Altima and run heads-up. I don't care who is driving, drag racing is about the cars, from a spectator perspective.
Great video, but I wish they didn't run handicaps. It's fun to race that way and leaves it up to the driver to make a win, but as a spectator it's just not as fun to watch, in my opinion. It's always nice to see who had the better reaction, better bite out of the hole, and better acceleration through the full quarter. This way it's just a really fast car vs a really really fast car, and then you just look at the light to see who won. I mean, a Prius could beat a top-fueller this way, man!
This is hands down the best filming I've ever seen during a drag race. Top notch cameraman or women. Its the best.
my favorite class

who's watching in 2023?
Love the camera angle. I couldn't tell the winner til the win lights. Great video. It's like being there, almost.
Thanks Les, I really enjoy watching your video's!!!!!
What section and seat were you in? Seems like a damn good spot.
Great racing!
And video!
Too bad the nhra has forgotten that the sportsman classes are what made drag racing.
Look how empty the stands are.
Very good video greetings from Argentina!
