This song is so close to my heart maybe because I realise that I've lost some of my closed ones who's never gonna come back to me. In my childhood days, when I used to visit my friends' house, we used to see the older generation people in the house such as grandfathers, grandmothers, elderly uncles and aunts often listening to 1940s, 1950s music with a lost look in their eyes as if they were searching for those times again and I used to wonder then why they are listening to "old" music. Now I can understand. I am now listening to all of the "old" 70s and 80s songs with a lost look in my eyes. I enjoy the music of those days. Those golden days are gone. I miss them so much.

I heard this song really after a longtime. I have been avoiding this song because this makes me vulnerable. I just can't hold my tears while listening to this. Kishor Kumar has a gifted voice. This song is so close to my heart maybe because I realise that I've lost some of my closed ones who's never gonna come back to me. This song reminds me of them & all the good memories I've spent with them. I'm so overwhelmed right now. It's 2 o'clock at night and I'm crying my heart out. Oh life!!! In my childhood days, when I used to visit my friends' house, we used to see the older generation people in the house such as grandfathers, grandmothers, elderly uncles and aunts often listening to 1940s, 1950s music with a lost look in their eyes as if they were searching for those times again and I used to wonder then why they are listening to "old" music.
