@@stephenbyrne2170 I've checked the manga, and the ship was named Queen Emeraldas before she got it. When exactly the name was given to the ship or why she didn't know. Also, Tochirou Ooyama did not build the ship. She inherited it from an old woman who flew around the stars.
That's why Luffy will never become the King of Pirates. Until Harlock and Emeraldas breathe, nobody will.
