Pleasure Island Dec 2016 slowly being dismantled.

- A re-fly over Pleasure island 2 months after it has closed. Requested by viewers. There is little change except for a few rides at the entrance of the park being dismantled and some gone completely.
I saw exploring with josh video and I feel sad for the sea lions now... LIKE WTH MAN, THEY HAVE LIVES TOO AND THEY JUST LEFT THEM, LIKE HOW WOULD YOU FEEL WHEN YOURE FAMILY JUST ABONDONS YOU AND YOU CANT ESCAPE LIKE HECK!

They were still getting taken care of till it made news then they got moved I think they weren’t completely abandoned they had play time and people feed them
yeah the place wasn’t completely abandoned, the theme park was but they still looked after the sea lions and made sure nobody came onto the site as the main entrance was heavily used as a Café I believe so it was open to the public.

I had been going to pleasure island for many a years when my children were little and would have loved to have taken my grand children there we always had such an amazing time xx

Hello everyone there is sea lions but they are being removed sometime in April there are people who go to feed them everyday because they are qualified! The park will be dismantled in 2018 but if bought by new owner it could end up being late 2017! They are planning on a reopen because they are getting rid of some of the rides at the left side next to pendulus etc and replacing them with 5 main attractions with on which are all going to be rollercoaster! They are also building a huge stadium to do animal shows in! But this is only if the theme park get bought. U may ask how do I know this my dads dad was a co manager of the place!

Most of the rides have been sold off. A few are currently still on the market i.e Hyper Blaster. Rides wont be dismantled till after Christmas. Many are going abroad as they are getting towards the end of their scheduled life, making them unfit to be operated under UK health safety laws. Some rides will go in storage and will be relocated to Flamingo land in due time. Hope this helps

They have started to take down the roller coaster now. I will go back this week with the drone.

Oh my god how could someone just leave those poor sea lions there 😭 I hope those evil people they call the "owners" of this park go to prison for that!
The sea lions were well taken care of after the park shut down, they were not abandon. Have you ever heard of trying to find a zoo/park to take in the sea lions? you can't just relocate them imediatley after the park shuts down without a place to properly take care of them. and releasing them into the wild was not a option, as an animal raised in captivity won't know how to survive in the wild. the owners made the right call keeping them there until they found the right person/zoo or park to take care of them.
the park doesn't look very big. also I can remember the vekoma boomerang they had at the American Adventure
which rides are gone at this point?
those sea lions are still in there pleasure island closed 2008 those sea lions have been in there now for 11 years
