Very useful video Thanks Phil. And just a quick question if you could answer me, how do you add those pedal data in, Mine only got the rpm and speed at the bottom, what else can you add in?
There are plenty of data channels you can show within Racechrono. For pedal data, you would want to look for Throttle position. This is dependent on car and how fast it can communicate with the obd2
I can’t for the life of me get the video to work. I’ve been using track addiction forever and have been having issues forcing me to encode video twice. I guess that better then no video
You can use a pc or the gopro app to transfer footage wirelessly to your phone. Once transferred you can link it from racechrono. If you record the session footage from racechrono it's a different process
@@revenantpneuma3636 Obd2 pulls data like RPM, Speed, and everything else your car records. You can rely on GPS data which isnt very accurate from your phones 1hz gps
Dude that's awesome guide! Thanks a lot

@@gixxerhoff7502 bummer to hear that. I haven't used track addict but the process should be similar. I usually found better luck overlaying post event
how do I link a video from my go pro on the app? I only saw if you record from the phone itself. Thank you!

Does the RaceChrono work for non-track driving? Like, can you use it while making POV driving vids on regular roads?
You can use it by using your phones internal GPS and OBD2 off track.
@@PhilJue do you have to use obd2 when using it off track for tracking speed for road pulls?
