    Hii Ma'am, I tried this cake & it came out soo delicious, spongy & one of the best chocolate cakes that too an eggless version. I paired it with a Salted Caramel Chocolate Ganache, the combo was a hit amongst my friends & family 😋😍. Thanks so much for your recipe, Ma'am 🙏🏼🥰.

    Hi Smriti, I love you recipes and your voice too. Thanks a lot for sharing all theses delicious recipes. I don't think anyone else explains the whole process so clearly.
    Your cake batters are usually a bit thicker than we normally do. What's the reasoning behind this. If we make the batter a little thinner will it be dense?
    Also, Can you do one oil based recipe too?

      Every cake is different from another. The recipe of mine that I'm using as the reference for this series is a Butter Cake. Hence it is thick. Kind of like a pound cake. You can make other recipes which will have a looser texture.

    Hii smriti I made this cake in the cooker and it rised up nd turned out bomb the texture was soooo beautiful i have made many cakes but this was the best thing I ever had thanks for the recipe also I love ur work❤❤

    Beautiful as always.. One can blindly follow ur recipe.. Thnx a lot once again. Would like to ask can we use dairy cream(amul cream) instead of cream cheese?

      Thank you! ❤️ As mentioned in the video, you can replace cream cheese with more butter. Don't substitute with cream, they have very different fat levels. It won't work.

    Hi,
    Is it ok to use Milky mist cream cheese for this cake? That is all I could find here.
    Ingredients are:
    Pasteurized milk and cream, iodized salt, lactic culture and stabilizer (INS 410)

      There's no cream in this recipe. Cream cheese is a type of cheese, not cream.
      You can substitute Cream cheese with equal amount of butter.

    Hi.... thanks for sharing.
    Using homemade butter makes any difference in cake? And do we need to add more butter than the amul butter in a recipe?
    Can I use these recipes for my whipped cream or buttercream cakes....
    Plz help

      Yes you can use home made butter, make sure it doesn't have too much water in it. Let it be as concentrated as possible. Yes you can use these cake for frosting.

    Uff! You're just a day late, uploading this :). I made the basic one yesterday, again and coincidentally added some chocolate chips as well. The cake is our new family favourite! But I know now what I'll be baking next.

    Hi Smriti. All your recipes are really handy but the quantity is not mentioned. Can you tell me where can I see the quantity of ingredients? It will be a great help. I am waiting to try a lot of recipe but since the quantity is not mentioned I am not able to do it.
