I replaced bulbs and even switch from right to left... its a socket issue... im worried about replacing it because it does disconnect, like its wired into the actual socket not just clip in clip out.. My brake light works while applying the brakes but the actual tail light does not turn on while truck is running.. thanks for making a video gonna give it a try
Yeah, I usually do, but I'm out at the moment or at least, I couldn't find any with my wiring supplies. With all the wiring I do I'm not surprised I ran out and just forgot to get more.

It's a good idea to fill those connectors with diaelectric grease. No more corrosion then.

Hey I’m trouble shooting why my left rear tail light is really dim but the right works fine.
Sounds like a grounding problem. I'd trace the wires back and look for the grounding points either to the bed box or the frame rail.
