بہزاد لکھنوی کی غزل ہے اور اپ اسکو پاکستانی کہ رہے ہیں۔ بہت ہی بیوقوفی کی بات ہے یہ پاکستانی غزلیں اور انڈین غزلیں۔ اردو غزل سے اگر ھندوستان میں پیدا ہوئے شعراء کی غزلیں نکالدیں تو شاید ہی کچھ بچے گا کہ اسے کوئی نام دیا جاسکے۔

कैसे कोई बिना सीखे बिना उस्ताद ये मुकाम हासिल कर सकता है लेकिन माशाल्लाह मोहतरमा Nayairra Mam ने वो किया जैसे आपकी गायिकी अल्फाज़ो के साथ लगता है। मुझे नही लगता आज 30 साल से ज़्यादा अरसा हो गया आपको गायिकी से अलग हुए और कोई आपके आसपास भी पहुँचा हो । ग़ज़ल मल्लिका बेगम अख्तर जी को फॉलो ही नही Mam आप कहीं आगे है । अल्लाह पाक आपको सेहतमंद और खुश रखे । ये ग़ज़ल ऐ इश्क़ हमे बर्बाद न कर से भी कहीं ज़्यादा अच्छी लगती है ।

I don't know why people mention Major Aziz Bhatti. This ghazal was first aired in 1973-74. Nayyara Noor was hot those days with film hits like Tera saya, bol ri gurya bol etc. The poet Behzad Lakhnavi died a year or so after this ghazal was recorded by PTV. PTV was still black & white (PTV went color in 1976).

He was apprehensive of going and knew the distress would rise at a certain point at the party when the reason of his khalish becomes the subject matter but agreed to go anyway and asked khalish to remind him to leave at the time when would be no longer would be able to bear. That is wicked.
First of all this ghazal and her voice is just pure mesmerizing - pure magic (if I can say that). Second, I was just wondering about dislikes. I understand everyone has an opinion but what gives. If we can keep conversation polite, I would like to know the reason of dislike.
Sad. How we have managed to ruin the hard work, talent, dreams of a generation for Pakistan. A generation of people served this country with their lives, voice, art, strength, talent so the next generation could live in prosperity. It aches my heart when i see the current sad state of affairs of our country. May Allah make it easier.

In my childhood, 1st time I heard this ghazal in major Aziz bhatii drama(movie).
ISPR used this song for major Aziz Bhatti documentary. Its was played again and again there, especially the last seen of his demise

اس وقت مجھے بھٹکا دینا جب سامنے منزل آ جائے

میں جانتا ہوں جو ہونا ہے، پر کیا کروں جب دل آ جائے
