I love Charlotte mason but sometimes I feel like I’m fumbling with putting it all together for myself. I definitely want to try this with my kindergartner this year but I’m hesitant with my 5th grader. My 5th grader struggles with spelling and reading. How would this curriculum benefit her in those areas? Also I don’t see readers in this curriculum is there reading throughout the language arts or is readers something I would need to supplement?
"Putting it all together" is the reason we created our "Charlotte Mason in a Box" curriculum kits at www.queenhomeschool.com. If, however, a student is not "average grade level," you may want to use the box kits as a guide and purchase the appropriate level Language Lessons and Learning to Spell Through Copywork books that are the best fit. Phonics/reading is taught in our "Language Lessons for Little Ones" books, volumes 2 and 3. Our "My First Pets Phonetic Readers" set is perfect for those using volume 2, who are learning short vowel words and long vowel with silent "e" words. The Language Lessons books for little ones do contain regular reading practice, but the ultimate goal is to get the student to the point of reading real, living books. You can see (and print, if you wish) free samples of each of the books in these series on our website.
@@themcnutterbutters5753 There are so many, but we have published many of our favorites under our "Animal Autobiographies," Living History Readers," "Animals and Their Stories," and "Living Science Readers" series at www.queenhomeschool.com. We also publish several geography books that would be classified as living books. The books in these series are very different, content-wise, from one another, and yet they are all living books that bring the subject matter to life.
Love your new videos and your updated site! I’ve ordered your books for years!
Thank you so much for the positive feedback - we appreciate it!
I think that's an amazing price.
