Yea I was looking at 335i but I feel the msport models are better maintained and I drove a 335i n54 07 4dr and the owner said he gets different codes every month so if u want an inline 6 you pretty much gotta go b58 or s series motors

I just got a used F80 a couple months ago. It's getting out of the shop having a dinnan head exchanger, csf charge cooler are carbon exhaust. I'm getting a solid crankhub, and m performance suspension, cattles down pipes, mad max exhaust

Just got a used f82. Everything was fine till I took to the shop for spark plugs. Two of them were cross threaded, one broke when they tried to get it off. I have get to two cylinder heads now.
Bro you can do an axle and a wheel hub yourself in like a day Crankhub is good to do. Struts didnt have to immediately replaced. Made it sound like your motor blew up
I think it was still a decent buy imo. 3k off the car gets , you get fresh pair of jrz dampers is not bad. You got to rebuild them once in a while anyways. If you were to buy a new set of jrz for the f80 you be paying alot more then what you payin right now.
That’s what I’ve been telling people. I also got the CSF charge cooler which is like 2k that he threw in because they were bent. The coil overs also have swift springs and are the rs pro 3’s which brand new are over $8k
Jake you need to find yourself some bmw tech buddies. Had you been in Tampa we would've banged out all that work in a weekend. But don't feel bad, no matter how a clean a car is when you first buy it there will always be small stuff to get perfect.
The coil overs need to be rebuilt by JRZ I’m not letting someone else mess with them. Everything else has been done fast that’s not the issue it’s just turn around on shipping that’s gonna make the car be out for a while. INW is fast especially with BMW and Audi.
I work at a Dealership...and HIGHLY suggest anyone buying a NEW or even USED car to do a PDI (required on new) or Safety Check on ANY car, regardless of Age and Miles. You never know how the previous owner maintenanced their vehicle, Tuned / FBO and then put everything back to stock, Accidents that weren't legally reported, etc. To many factors that can RUIN a brand new purchase :( - Beautiful ride man best of luck getting everything back together!

Not necessarily true. Suspension work is very tricky and 90% of the time it never feels right afterwards. It will pull to the right, or the left or make a strange creaking or clunking sound afterwards. This is why the other guy sold the car to begin with. He knew it was never going to get back to the way it used to be.
Buying a BMW is like dating a city lady(problems with legs) If you want real quality you date a country lady with a good upbring (LEXUS) which for you equals 0 problems

Replaced Plugs, Coils, Full service - oil, filters etc, injectors, lpfp, cobb charge pipe, vrsf downpipes, 7.5" vrsf intercooler, replaced all vac lines, and it still misfires slightly on startup and performance is pretty lack luster (Using stage 1+ w/ XHP Stage 3) Also no codes come up, so I am completely a loss of words and full of confusion of what's going on with it, hence why I purchased an M4 as I had enough. I still have the 335i but it's just a "project" car now and project meaning finding the issue with it 🤦♂ It does have serious WG rattle so that might have sometime to do with it maybe?

Yes I did and he already told me about the coil over before I test drove so I figured it was just that not the wheel bearing or axle. The axle wasn’t making a noise the noise in the rear was because he had the setting wrong one rebound and compression for the coil overs.

Titel is incorrect...First do research on the car, get it to a garage for a check up, drive it than decide to buy. Btw it's an M4... What do you expect? Brand new!? It's a sports car...to be driven...in the end there are always some defaults... My advice is think before you buy.
