That nosy karen calling 911 on the dad. What, she hasn't seen 'proof' that he's the Dad? I don't ever recall seeing 'proof' that any of our neighbors are the parents of the kids they have living with them. That is just sooooo stewpid. But I'm really glad OP pressed charges. Maybe karen will have learned something.
My bud comes from an endless line of Scandinavians & looks it. Mostly Blonde & light colored eyes. His wife is Anglo-Indian (Asian). When they had their first child her skin tone~think Jennifer Lopez or Zendaya. From the birth hospital through college so many people refused to believe in their relationship. Sometime funny, other times easily explained yet one time stopped by the police as they thought that the then tween daughter was being kidnapped by my friend. Not a happy experience. When smartphone became mainstream they made sure that they both had photos of the arc of their father-daughter relationship.

Why is it that you can’t refer to 911 as 9*1*1 instead of 9&11 it is Nine/one/one.
Karen and calling 9-1-1 on the dad with His son.... You have to be more PRECISE when talking or telling a story where someone is calling for an EMERGENCY situation. You Can NOT say they called Nine-Eleven, ( 9/11), the Proper and CORRECT statement is They called NINE-ONE-ONE.) This is the One Peeve I have about ANY PERSON writing and/or orally telling a story. Nine-one-one. (9-1-1) Is the CORRECT way to talk of when someone CALLS for an Emergency situation, as saying Nine-Eleven, IS (9/11) THE DATE THAT SOMETHING HORRIFIC HAPPENED IN THIS WORLD!! and for EVERY STORY TELLER who says 9-1-1 as NINE-Eleven, ONLY TRIGGERS the Horrible things that happened on this date in the world's history, to the person reading or listening to the story you are telling.
