I have a redback in my peavey bandit instead of the usual eminence suggestions. The redback is the opposite of the v30. It shines best in a 112 cab, and that dark nature ends up quite balanced when you crank it.
This channel consistently gets way better tones than anyone else. Serious question, why is this? It's head and shoulders better than Ola, Pete Thorn, that annoying bald German guy, that Kyle guy etc.
Zach Wish and Reza are probably worth mentioning in the same realm of good tone too-seems like some folks just have an ear for doing it better on UA-cam even if it’s just amp -> cab -> 57
I have 5 412 cabs. Two old 80's PV 412's with G12K-85's. Which are my main cabs I use. I have a Marshall with two G12K-85's on top and two V30's on the bottom. Great cab. And another Marshall cab with V30's on the bottom and 2 GB25's on the top. Another great cab. My other cab I have is another old PV cab with all V30's. Great cab as well. But I am more used to my PV cabs with the G12K-85's more than the others.
Listening to comparisons lately I've found that I think V30 sounds "constrained"; I think it's the same here. The old G12K-85 and Redback breathe much more.
Redbacks is a pleasant surprise
Great video. Can’t help but love the V30 🔈
I think I could get down with the Redback

I've noticed that Redbacks legit sound like the 75 W cream back, the K100, and the V30 all at once. It is my favorite speaker at the moment.
I have a feeling the V30 and Redback will sound great mixed.
Super dope video💯

Patiently waiting for each podcast. Awesome for us dreamers
First thing i noticed: Sounds like the Uber Ultra. I use the K100
All sound great. I’ve never actually used a red back. Very Interested in it after hearing this. Any way you could put out an IR of these?
celestions website shows the ir's
the g12k85 and the redback sound great they sound the smoothest high end

H75 is my fav with a V30
which version of the g12t75 is better for metal the new or the old one from 80s and 90s
The newer one is pretty scooped and aggressive, so many players dig it. If you’re more into classic metal the 80’s version is the way to go.
@@zenamplification for clasic metal i use the wgs et65
which of this speakers you would prefer for doom metal
The K is pretty solid for those tones.
