    Finally getting back on track and working on getting the rest of this trip edited! I was super stoked to finally make it to Yellowstone for my very first time this summer! Thanks for sticking with me!

    Honestly appreciated you putting the semi-failed hunt for a camping spot in the video. I had one of those moments recently where it felt like all I was doing was driving aimlessly. It’s a good reminder it happens to all of us and we just need to be flexible

      Thanks for watching Lora! It's definitely easy for me to get down on myself when I can't find that elusive "perfect spot", especially with the added pressure of trying to make videos! I think you're right, flexibility is key, and in the future I think my goal will be to have a better Plan B and C before heading out!

    Cool video. I like how you start a camp fire. And great looking hot dogs. Yellowstone is a breathtaking place but true that it is difficult to find dispersed camping.

      Thanks for checking it out! That little snow peak torch is serious overkill, but always brings a smile to my face when it roars up like a jet engine! haha

    Hi Ben enjoying your channel but the bit that got me to subscribe was the spider part. Very funny and many can relate as we discover unwanted nasty critters hitched a ride and we discover this while trying to maintain control.

    • @BenStinnett

      Thank you so much for subscribing! Those critters definitely keep finding ways to hitch rides with me, and they don't even chip in for gas!

      Is it overkill? Totally. But does it bring a smile to my face every time I light it up? 100%

    First video and I just subscribed. I've been searching for dispersed camping around Yellowstone for awhile. My family, wife and a 13 and 8 yr old girls, are headed up at the end of may/beginning of June. Any sites that you found that you can share? Funny that you did the touristy thing and bought a couple of t-shirts. We're in a Tacoma and I'm hoping there will be enough room for me for the ride home after all the t-shirt purchases from the women.

    We also want up Lulu pass but didn’t end up staying there. Was the jeep trail you went up goose lake trail? We drove up it about 100 yards and backed back down. Didn’t want to risk it being the only vehicle and no sliders/protection.

    • @BenStinnett
      @BenStinnett  3 роки тому

      The truck looks equipped enough to tackle goose lake trail. Plus you don't have to go to end to find epic sites, there's a couple along the way next to the lakes. We went to the end and it was the best dispersed site of our yellowstone trip.

      Also here’s some fun adventures
      Upper Mesa Falls is a waterfall on the Henrys Fork in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest. Upstream from Lower Mesa Falls, it is roughly 16 miles away from Ashton, Idaho. Upper Mesa Falls is roughly 114 feet high and 200 feet wide
