18:10 👏🏻👏🏻 For your first year of doing what you love? Definitely GOOD. Apart from buying a sample pack or plugin here and there that's pretty much all profit. Any starting business would be happy to just break even the first year.
This is good of you to share Lauren.. Morale of the story hit up as many as you can!!! Quick message for people who really are new to the industry don’t forget to also send out FREE beats to artists who hit NUMBERS! get them to credit you and tag you on all their social posts regarding the song for the sake of a free basic mp3 lease it’s worth the free promo in my opinion just make sure their ENGAGEMENT IS LEGIT 😂 and that way people will find you and if they approach you you know your sale is GUARANTEED 💰👏🏼
You are such a wonderful teacher. I love that you showed us what you would do different. I am seriously going to get to work. You are helping so many artists out here and WE APPRECIATE it. Nothing but love from Nebraska
Excellent tutorial- you truly are an inspirational honourable, and conscientious Guru. Really interesting to see how you achieved your early successes through determination, and consistency 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I envy people like you because I've been producing for 20 years and it's hard to catch people that actually want to respond. And they are on UA-cam but they rarely respond. I've made one sell in 20 years. My skills far exceed this simple description
Love the video! Very detailed and full. I love that it has kind of a different perspective, not relying only on making content but also reaching out to people I have a question though: would you say it's better to stick to one "genre" or lane of beats? I love making a lot different genres but I've always been told that it's bad for marketing yourself
@LGN.420 Yes thats true, but I think its party to do with age, When I was Lollys age it was all about Grime beats. I been trying to adapt that into trap as its the ssme tempo, it kinda works but its not really what Trap rappers want.
I'm a producer...many people make these beats. There's no special equipment. Too many type beats that don't stand out like zaytoven or Scott storch or alchemist. Every producer does the same beats
@@NobodyImportant-ef3de Zay and Scott are Hiphop producers, I can make Hiphop and RnB aall day and thats some of My best sounding beats, I also made Grime for over 10 years. I stopped making Grime because it was loosing popularity however it might be on the rebound currently with artist like Chipmunk and Devlin returning to the spotlight, but have to see if the young take it up VS Trap n Drill.
You changed my life with those beats. You changed the entire atmosphere in America those beats are part of the hood now forever. I know it’s good to make money but in GD, just watch-this is bigger than u think. Be patient. Do it for the love of your art and the culture the rest will follow. BE PATIENT,beautiful. -74WILDCAT
Can u make a tutorial on how u do everything please ! No skips or edits, I need help 😂 how u go through the beat process and everything…ur beats sound good
Thank you, Lollypop. My biggest issue with uploading regular is the mixing portion. Do producers mix their beats before selling them? I was taught to mix before selling...
Honestly, the amount of boring as fuck tutorials on this subject on UA-cam is unbelievable. But this video BY MILES is far & away the best I’ve seen. 🤜🏻
Nice thank you! But what about royalties or streaming revenues if any? Thanks just asking so we can get a complete view of the business! Peace keep up the good work!
9:13 what do each of the items mean. like i know mp3 and WAV but what exactly does "trackouts" "unlimited" and "exclusive" mean? does this mean you include a producer tag? im just unfamiliar with these terms
How much money did you spend on renting studio time and flying to America for collaborations? I’d be curious as to what it actually costs to become a producer in your opinion. Also how many exclusives have you sold compared to how many beats you’ve made? I’d just like to know how many beats I have to make on average until I get exclusive sales. Knowing the average and how many beats you have to sell day/week/month to afford to live on beats alone would also be nice. Thx and congrats and I’m glad I am a subscriber and viewer and rapper that can practice on your beats ❤
Great video but what about residuals? By just selling beats flat rate you are missing out on potentially major long term money that you are entitled to as a songwriter.
how do you manage licences for beats sold directly like not from beatstars or something ?? like beatstars tracks your licences but you mostly have cash app so that is just you giving beats to them for the money , how to manage that without a platform to track if the buyer needs to renew or update there licence ?
This video was a goldmine of knowledge 🙏🙏 Producer community needs more of this rn 💯💯
You can tell she genuinely wants everyone to win.
Thanks lolly🙏
Totally got that feeling. Excellent advice.

I thought making Trap beats was easy, but turns out its actually not, I can't make beats like yours.

Can u make a tutorial on how u do everything please ! No skips or edits, I need help 😂 how u go through the beat process and everything…ur beats sound good
what to do if they steal the beats? how do you recover them how can you copyright them before they are used how to go about all of that ?
Thank you, Lollypop. My biggest issue with uploading regular is the mixing portion. Do producers mix their beats before selling them? I was taught to mix before selling...
Great video...Straight to the pont and nothing, but the TRUTH! Respect +1 sub
Thank you!!🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
This video was necessary! 🔥

Would you say selling beats in 2024 is harder than say 2020s-2023?
What year did you start producing? And how did you improve quickly?
Good teacher for beat Making
Thank you for this.
I fuckin love you dawg ‼️‼️💯
Nice thank you! But what about royalties or streaming revenues if any? Thanks just asking so we can get a complete view of the business! Peace keep up the good work!
Nice, but How to Protect your Beats initial Days and How to Create & Lease Your License Agreement. Please Guide New Producers.
Thank you very much 🙏 Would you send the beats tagged? Or untagged?
Namaskaram for the vision

great video 💛
tnx a lot sis
She a real one
what do you mean by exclusive when you mentioned those mp3s and the wavs pricing

Great video but what about residuals? By just selling beats flat rate you are missing out on potentially major long term money that you are entitled to as a songwriter.

Question if people are reaching out to you already from your UA-cam and such would you still need to look for artists as well
many thanks for the video
Witch fl studio option is best to buy (producer edition, signature bundle, all plug-ins edition) witch is best to buy ?????
Watchu mean by unlimited... mentor?
your 🔥🔥
Are you sending tagged beats in that initial email?
Do you send the same packs to different artist ??
how do you manage licences for beats sold directly like not from beatstars or something ??

do you put out beatstars though?
When a rapper gives his number. Where does he want me to send beats. Through which messenger?
