Awesome video mate, just subscribed, the last one tom deardon chasing down cobbo was almost identical to one a couple of years back when helum luki chased down reece walsh, So many good clips in that one, aweome memories
"Mares is going to put a kick across the park, and O'Conner! O'Conner has intercepted, its a race between O'Conner and Grothe. I dont know whether Grothe's got the pace. He's wearing him down, he's not gonna get him. Yes! But too late! He left it one meter too late. Well..what a sensational moment in the game" Rabs Warren, 1986.
@@simplysports13dearden’s was better only because Dearden isn’t known to be a speedster yet caught one of the fastest in the game. Had dearden been Pappy then I would say Coates was better
@@simplysports13 the titans player made a big cut out pass but if he just pass it to the guy next to him, it would have created an over lap allowing either the centre or winger to score. Mbye would have tried to tackle the centre instead which would allow the winger space to score in the corner. Young players get to excited sometimes and think they must cut out pass every time.
@@Br0wnCh3 So your saying that the break through he made he shoud've passed earlier? You've provided a lot of context so it's a little hard to understand 😅Oh wait sorry I got it. He should'e past to player directly next to him right?
@@simplysports13 yes. That’s what draw and pass means. He draws in the person in front of him, in this case the full back mbye and pass to the centre standing next to him. Who then passes to the winger if needed. Also called “hands” meaning just catch and pass to the person next to you.
@@simplysports13 In that time the NRL used to conduct a sprint in the infield of Wentworth Park Greyhound Track in front of the dogs patrons. It was approximately 60 metres long.
@@simplysports13 Yes those sprints you refer to were held at the SCG during the footy finals over 100 metres. I reckon over the 60 is a better indication of raw expolsive speed. Very quick off the mark.

Thanks for the upload mate. I am really enjoying your work here. Some good contemporary stuff, but also some old stuff too. It's a good mix.
Thanks bro. Much appreciated!
Tom dearden try saving tackle will always be #1..
Cant believe he actually caught Cobbo!! Wow!!!
Dearden🔥🔥
No one ever expected it!
Darren Albert to win the semi final will always be number 1.
This is why people love the NRL great clip Thanks
Thank you
@@simplysports13 I will be following you hope to see more clips like this THANKS AGAIN.
@@J.J123 I'll be sure to keep you entertained. I am currently in the making of a part 4 but that is if I get enough clips and it might be my last.

Thanks bro. Really appreciate it! ♥️🙌 I also just saw that foot race as well. That was crazy
Johnson was a machine at chases
Yeah definitely
Johnson catching Inglis and Inglis after catching Johnson proves that you run faster without the ball.
Like Tommy's but man when seeing Eric Grothe senior...is Pumped Up!

John Jansen( St George) chasing down Steve Rogers (Cronulla) some time around the mid '70's.
Phil Sami chasing down ado carr was an epic.
And Coates chasing someone i cant recall a couple of years ago.

Yeah I know. It was crazy
Philip Sammi chases down Addo Carr, Xavier Coates on Dane Gagai, Lockyer on Michael De Vere, Jharal yow yeh on Jarred Hayne
I included most of those in my previous videos except for the last two that you mentioned

You forgot one. Great Britain versus Australia. Ettinghausen chases down Martin Offiah.
What year was this? Im getting clips from back in the 80's
Agree, martin was suppose to be the fastest on the planet, great chase,
