Team 144 was one for HISTORY in the U OF M I’m 29 & the last time we won a national championship I was 3 lol so glad they did it & we’re just building the program up to be the best like before we still the winningest program & we have the biggest stadium in the nation GO BLUE〽️〽️〽️💙💛💙💛
I’m sorry, but at this point when the defense is making a big play it’s just a given that #0 Sainristil is involved. Interception, pass break up, fumble forced, pressure on the QB, solo tackle in open space, it’s always something with this freaking guy!!! I’m watching highlights and see a great defensive play and I rewind it to see who it was and it’s always #0! Seriously. This guy is special. Absolute elite defensive player. Edit: seriously. Just happened again. Another forced fumble by #0.
JJ McCarthy, Blake Corum, Mikey Sainristil, Roman Wilson. Its absolutely a team effort and everyone contributed BUT these guys were making KEY plays all year.
That defense of Iowa isn't no joke those boys can hit, i don't know how many guys they got coming back on that defense but if Iowa can get that offense fixed and they can continue to play defense like that, that's going to be a good team.
Hats off to Iowa , they lost their starting QB and their best tight end mid season and their defense did pretty well vs a dominant Michigan. Those 3 turnovers really REALLY HURT Iowa. But for those 3 turnovers the final score would still have resulted in a loss but the final score would have been a more respectable 13-0 to 16-0. Again, great Iowa defense and Ferentz is the most underrated coach in college football history.
Losing to one of the most dominant national champions in college football history by less than 40 points is no disgrace . Iowa had an excellent ,overall, 10 win ranked season.
@@ernestkovach3305 Yes, Michigan had a phenomenal year but for Iowa, losing by 26 points / four scores and not scoring a single point is still the definition of a blowout. As you also mentioned their three turnovers were very costly too though. If not for them, then yes the score possibly would’ve stayed closer as turnovers can make huge differences in the score.
Sight set on something more than a championship a lust thrust of winning alot of Championships while Jimmy wants to be a changers head coach Spoiler after went this the year highlight was done by
We finally did it we’re the National champions! 15-0! Go Blue!

20:48. Blake Corum moves like he is on ice skates. It’s beautiful to watch. Some of his most mediocre runs are just beautiful to watch.
I'm a Michigan man thru and thru. But that chase down on the kickoff was spectacular. What hustle. Every team needs a guy or guys like him. Never quit

Just disappointed we didn't get to play against All and McNamara
Fr same with me

I was thinking the same, imagine if they had at least an top15 offense with this defense

Losing by 26 is playing good defense?
Really?

Greatest team in big ten conference history
I don't think I've witnessed a more inept offense than the 2023/24 Iowa team. The QB looked like a dude on a barstool at a dive bar.
War eagle but respect!
Stacy is the best way for the next year
