I want to play as lonk!
Its been far too long for lonk to be a protagonist in his own game
It makes sense that this type of hack would work, seeing as this game was changed in the middle of development. It was originally was a dungeon design game that had Link using magic to solve puzzles. I'm glad that they gave Zelda the limelight instead, as the gameplay is more puzzle first, combat second. Her being a magic user just fits nicely. IMO, they balanced the gameplay pretty well because at no point did I feel like it was too challenging. The game gives you the tools to manage your health and magic while giving you creative freedom to solve puzzles and explore at your own pace making it great for gamers new and old. Now I'm just hoping they remake the Oracle games with this engine, since most of the assets are already there.
the fact that link has animations for all of this stuff such as horseback riding proves that link really was going to be the main character until it was changed

Actually there's a way to unlock the equipment menu in the game You just need to find any accessories (All accessories unlock it but some might be useless on link) But there is no costume option.
You do Keep items to collect from the treasure chest. The 500 Rupees you see in your inventory is a lie to see how much you have, go to a store. And the items you find can still be sold

Now, find a way to switch between link and zelda . Perfection Now we can play as both in the same game🎉
I wonder if we’ll get EOW DLC which would take place before and during the events of the main game. Kinda like in the lines of Bowser’s Minions in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga on 3DS.

In the rift areas...
Them finding out how to play as Link, doesn't mean they know how to beat it as him yet.
So you can play as Link but you can’t participate in the story at all because you can’t create echoes or do any of the dungeons. So this is basically pointless
Does the save file where you play as Zelda effect how much of the world you have access to when you play as Link? Would I be able to access the full map if I have a complete save file and do the steps to play as Link, or doesn't game completion effect anything?
I’m pretty sure you could do that. I was thinking the same thing
Seeing this just makes me wish we got a game with Link instead of Zelda
This is a cool glitch but I can't for the life of me get it to work it always just loads the manual save
Im having the same issue
Tried 30+ times and no luck. Up A always fully loads manual save. Until I see a tutorial going over all possibilities I'm assuming it's not possible on the current version.
Actually you just need to load the save file a bit slower (It happened to me too)
It took me 30+ tries too, but it’s so worth it in the end. Try looking on other channels.

He can't. But you can still explore most of the world.

hmm weird i do the exact think but when i load the link save file it just take me there and won't respawn me in the overworld, i would like to know if this get patched or something..
I did this and it worked but how do you fast travel the map doesn’t open up?
I’ve been repeating for 3 hours now, and I can’t get it to work, I seem to always spawn into the save file I loaded, and nothing changes. I’m following all the steps, I’ve double checked. Is there anything I might have missed?
One time I loaded back into the save file at hyrule field, but I wasn’t link

After you press the A button to clear the text box off the screen, that's when you start pressing the + button repeatedly
I find this glitch yo be hilarious and awesome. I feel like the meter tanks way to fast even when maxed out. I wanna br able to enjoy the form rather than rush. Kinda wish there was a bed to restore the meter lol.
Just keep a bunch of milk + rock salt or milk + floral nectar smoothies in your inventory.

So in the end playing as link is lame because u can’t use echos. And later we can dress as link. So hard pass on this. Smh.

i watched another video featuring your video, so I wanted to give you watch time as its not fair to watch ur video on someone elses channel robbing you of that watch time.
We should not have had to play Zelda in the first place. She is completely useless.
Good. Zelda is cool but o prefer to play as Link. Before too long, Nintendo is gonna fix the glitch.

The fact that they didn’t include a new game plus that lets you play as link in a completely different adventure is a real missed opportunity.
