For if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Galatians 2:20-21 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Romans 4:14-15 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Galatians 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. Galatians 3:18-22 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise. Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one. Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. Romans 4:4-5 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Romans 3:27-28 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. Galatians 3:10-13 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. *** I do not like liquor or beer.

Into 45 minutes, I don't see any mention about education to the public nor did I hear the cultivation of effort to discourage people from making fake due to economical scale not worth it anymore. If everyone can see beyond brand and aimed for quality, it will divert the need to make counterfeit. If continue to persist chasing after enforcement, this war will last forever and will never be won. Narcotics war has been a good example why using force and law doesn't solve the issue and we can see country like Portugal uses different approach on handling drugs and resulted in lower crime pertained from drug related society issues. Good documentary as always from CNAInsider but this episode is a let-down.
There were education to the public but it was mostly ignore by the public. At least from where i lived, people continued to used counterfeit item if the item did not affect their health. Most of the time it doesn't have anything to do with it being branded. It was common. Usually counterfeit item deem acceptable by the people for the branded fashion item, entertainment related item like figurine, album or movie and gadget like smartphone. This is based on my experience here. Of course health related issue will cause anger. Sorry for my bad english.
If you pay off the officials, then they will look away and you can continue to sell fakes. If you don't pay up to their demanded sum, then they will shut down your fake goods business. Isn't that how it works in Malaysia?

We got home made face masks in the USA too. Lots of people wear them. Even the masks from the pharmacies like Walgreens, CVS, or Rite Aid are no good. The elastic that goes over your ears does not keep the mask tight. I'm not an expert, but how well can a mask work when the mask is loose and there's a gap all around so the air isn't even going through the mask? EDIT: Most of the food in the US is not what it claims to be. Almost everything is made from corn oil. Cereals have plastic as filler. This is all 100% legal. Labeling laws are very lax.
It seems like the only determining factor regardless of items (medication or liquor ) is the selling price. What happens if the retailers start selling fake item at original prices? how would the consumer or even the police detect such items? i wonder...seized...they might as well donate them to charity (if non dangerous consumption items), and things like counterfeit cloths, pants, sports attire....or have a massive garage sales of less than 90% discount...and get the return as money , to enhance their consumer operation. The idea here is IF the enforcers are not greedy and corrupted people themselves... No point burning it. No point destroying it. If it is a bag...at least use a burning stamper, to mark it with enforcer stamp, so that buyer can sell it. But selling at 90% discount, and protecting the counterfeited brand is essential...so the crime cannot be repeated elsewhere.

I complain to CASE for rusty kettle 10 to 15 years ago sold in NTUC, they told me they don't have the facility to test products... from that point I know, all the beautiful images of our efficiencies and serious attitudes are just marketing and propaganda on media.
It's not ethical if you're a makeup artist and you use fakes. Especially not on the people who trusted you with the makeup. If you've informed them and they're cool with it then it's ok, but otherwise, not cool.
Some people couldn't be bothered. You have to buy and give your products to the make-up artists.
Singapore like U.S. blame other countries but when we talk about them they say So What?
CNA, next time undercover the CCP.... I don't think so, Hahaha
Guys, you asking CNA to send people in to test their immortality against bullets? ^_^;
CNA is from Singapore, not China
$35 bottle at major retail that gets them in bulk , and you see somewhere else in a corner shop at $10, come on now... thats a sure ticket to get blind or worse
The problem is government will not enforce tougher jail term. We have same problem here in New York City but smaller scale and focus tourism market.
the bloopers in the beginning was not necessary.the whole thing is also old news...
Not only in Malaysia, in Australia also
Good job CNA
yes lots of even fresh fish with chemicals but problem is they don’t want to admit
喝了没有事,就是真的 ! 厉害 ! 真服了你大哥 !
Great, another hit job piece on Malaysia 👏👏
3 hari yg lalu gw beli masker medis d local market harganya 5ribu (50cent) for 3 masker begitu gw buka yg asli cuma 1 sisany fake mask ciri²ny itu tipis banget ngga ada lapisan ke 2 dan ke 3
Only small minded people care about location, if CNA Insider is willing to spend the resources to come up with a video like this in my country, I would thank them for helping me be aware of these shennigans and I will be more cautious. These are things that not all governments are looking, into although they have a duty of care to their citizens. So, don't be so prideful can?
Why not make a documentary of how Singapore failed to control its Covid 19 cases.
I'm seeing police in the news destroying these fake goods but yet I still see these goods being sold everywhere. If it's easy for me to obtain then what's the point 😂
Unfortunately it's made in china.
I bought a fake Arnold Palmer tee from a street vendor in Hadyai, Thailand back in 1993. It's still good till today and I still wear it and the colour never faded after all these decades.
As long as it's not to be taken into the body, I'm okay with fake goods because I can't afford the real things. Long live knock-offs!
Fake is the right word for anything that goes into your body or applied onto your body. Cheap is the right word for anything that remains outside your body. Remember you work hard or lazy for your money. The money does not come without sweat and tears. So spend your money wisely.
@@Schocam
I have to disagree with your usage to differentiate fake and cheap products.
It kills local businesses because you prefer something cheap over something cheap but not branded, despite local brands are genuine and fake goods are knockoffs
@@lunix3259
It's up to the local businesses to compete for my money 💵. Why should I pay 10 times the price for something if I can get something of similar quality for a much cheaper price. Does the local businesses care a hoot about my financial position. Would they care if I go broke? But you go ahead and pay the exorbitant price for the brand name and to support them. I have no problem with that. If you are the local business, I'll tell you in your face : if you sell nasi lemak for rm25 a plate and your neighbor sells the same at rm8 and assuming everything is equal, I'd buy from your neighbor, even if yours is world famous. You cater to the rich and I'll give your neighbor my money 💵. It's fair and square.
Luke 1:15
::For he will be great in the sight of the Lord; and he will drink no wine or liquor,
For if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
Galatians 2:20-21
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
Romans 4:14-15
For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:
Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.
Romans 11:6
And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
Galatians 2:16
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Galatians 5:4
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
Galatians 3:18-22
For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.
Romans 4:4-5
Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
Romans 3:27-28
Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Galatians 3:10-13
For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
2 Corinthians 5:21
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
*** I do not like liquor or beer.
You forgot about those illicit officers by authority who receive large sum of bribery and allow those counterfeits off-load those anonymous containers while getting approval on documents to be discharged from the port. These kind of shipment often comes in large and bulk quantities which requires heavy transportation. Do you think perpetrators hire a few Bangladeshi's and ask them each to carry a full bag of goods on their shoulder and running across hundreds of KM through thick and dense forest and cross the border?
Thanks CNA undercover 👍
dah tau lama dah..i would rather break my pocket buying expensive merchandizes from trusted merchant than cheap unworthy sellers...not to brag or being a show off but expensive items from trusted sellers worth every penny and life plus it last longer than the cheap one..supporting counterfeit products means supporting /human trafficking/prostitution and terrorism..It is one of the topic in AML@Anti Money Laundering
Oo it's really cool to hear tamil language in this video
Why all the hate it’s just an informational video, you all need to calm down and stop getting so het up !
Good work Zeff Tan🔥
Rich countries can afford real mask, not all fake masks are from CCP,every corner of the world also got fake goods too.
just a tip...do not order Milo ever in Malaysian warungs and any other restaurants...they are using cheap taste chocolate flavor drink and charge you a Milo drink price which is usually much expensive!!!
Sometimes I order Milo has some weird aftertaste, eventhough they put publicly a lot of Milo packages at the drink maming station. Then I stop ordering it already
There's a lot of fake milo products. Sometimes sold at the original price. People who bought it might not even know.
U 100% right this is true .I been staying JB for the past 8 years
then bring you singaporean hawker culture milo when drink in JB. easy. duit 3 times pon mahu takut.
Guess im sticking to water now
People but counterfeit because branded stuff like clothes is price unreasonably. Why the heck a of branded piece of clothes is more valuable than water that human actually need.
There's no such things a fake mask. The only difference is good or bad quality. People don't know that using sheets of bounty is better than some of these bad quality masks.
I've been waiting for this
I am shocked at seeing all those young lady shoppers saying they do not care if the clothing are real or fake. 😮
This kaisu people got nothing to do said bad things to their neighbor. Why not y’all buy a singapore flight ticket from changi terminal 1 to changi terminal 2
Ok I'm pissed they let her use fake product on other people's eyes!!
You think SG dont sell fake item kaaa ??? Not all Singaporean can afford to shoppe in LV boutique..
Yes, Malaysia boleh. haha
Why are the men dressed so freely, in shirts and shorts, but the women have to be completely covered up?
Why does islam sexualise women's bodies so much?
The video would make a better impression without the drama music and without the tendency to make everything mega dramatic, which is quite annoying while watching.
Fake Panadol, its already happening back in the 80..
This makes me so mad. Producing counterfeit foods, beverages and medicines is so inhuman. Yet, I love the fact that he said it's better to use automation detection rather than human evaluation on counterfeit products that lead to more corruptions. It's true sometimes that's the only way to build integrity I guess. LOL😆
singapore : value dollar
Are the alcohols sold in langkawi island, Malaysia counterfeit as well because they also sell it at a very cheap price at the duty free shop.
The alcohol sold at Langkawi is cheaper because they are duty free as allowed by the Malaysian government to boost tourism in Langkawi, not because they are fake. Other places in Malaysia are supposed to pay duties for the alcohol therefore the prices should be more expensive.
Next, please undercover covid 19 progres in singapore..
They should cover Malaysia Baru turn Malaysia Barua 😂
OMG that uncle.... drink already no problem means genuine lor... HAHAHA I can't even....
vedwyr that uncle is delusional. Typical 眼不见为净(as long as I don’t know then it is non-existent)
singapork small country and also still need water from malaysia.
Malaysial no balls to cut water.. coward 😂
THANK YOU FOR EXPOSING THE FAKE THINGS
We got home made face masks in the USA too. Lots of people wear them. Even the masks from the pharmacies like Walgreens, CVS, or Rite Aid are no good. The elastic that goes over your ears does not keep the mask tight. I'm not an expert, but how well can a mask work when the mask is loose and there's a gap all around so the air isn't even going through the mask?
EDIT: Most of the food in the US is not what it claims to be. Almost everything is made from corn oil. Cereals have plastic as filler. This is all 100% legal. Labeling laws are very lax.
Sorry, not to offend any party, but a great proportion of counterfeit items sold in every country in Asia come from China..
It seems like the only determining factor regardless of items (medication or liquor ) is the selling price. What happens if the retailers start selling fake item at original prices? how would the consumer or even the police detect such items? Maybe selling of clothes or accessories are fine, these indigestible items will kill people!
The only way is to educate consumers on the dangers of counterfake goods , as long as consumer keeps buying this items , there will be people making, and i think we all know whos the best at producing conter fake goods. These probably no way of stopping it at its source (factories) those people will kill babies just to make a few bucks
Good point. That is why there are tourist places that actually say they sell replica or cloned products. That way you feel you are not cheated and you buy it out of your own free will.
@@Schocam If they tell you its fake or cloned, thats probably one of the more moral sellers and its probably ok if they are selling non harmful stuff like clothes etc.
I highly doubt anyone would willingly tell you that your medication or liquor is cloned or replica. Who would be actually dumb enough to buy that? Even if one is crash strapped im sure no mother would buy replica milk or medicene for their children to save a few $.
Just like in the video, they ask if that Chivas is genuine, of course, that seller would have come out with some excuse and say its genuine
cna being a bad media, its shows what their true intent are.meanwhile they say singapore is good in all ways, like prostitute been illegal there.clap3x
i wonder...seized...they might as well donate them to charity (if non dangerous consumption items), and things like counterfeit cloths, pants, sports attire....or have a massive garage sales of less than 90% discount...and get the return as money , to enhance their consumer operation.
I once purchased what I think was a fake Mamypoko premie diaper. I was desperately looking for it and the baby retaill shop I used to buy from were out of stock. So I bought from a seller on Shopee. My baby wore it and it disintegrated so fast after just 1 hr of wearing. For eyeshadows, the counterfeits are usually with better pigmentation but probably full of non approved color pigments.
I think that Malaysia should follow and copying Singapore method . Like Imposing a heavy fine up to S$10,000.00 / $7000 USD and Malaysian Ringgit 30420 for the sale of out the sale of counterfeit goods as an offence.
我認為馬來西亞應該效仿新加坡的做法。 如對出售假冒商品的銷售處以最高10,000.00新元/ 7000美元的罰款和馬來西亞林吉特30420的罰款
Most countries does that....not only Singapore....
Is no one going to talk about how in the video the Malaysians are counting US dollars instead of Malaysian Ringgit... Or am I the only one disturbed by it
Singapore's portrayal of Malaysia, what do you expect? This is just another one in a long line of smear campaign against Malaysia. Previously theres another attack on Malaysia showcasing the wet market situation which is laughable and easily refutable but outsiders will not know any difference.
@@asmrlova Which episode is it? Would love to watch it!
The US dollars you saw maybe from American shoppers.
@@susanchin4117 It doesn't matter where the shoppers are from, businesses in Malaysia won't accept US dollars just as American businesses won't accept Malaysian Ringgit.
the music in this documentary is overwhelming, it makes it seem like a cheap action movie
CNA INSIDER IS POWERFUL AS USUAL!
Can you show me which countries in the world one or another way not using fake products.
I have never been this early! Also first
Raising the drinking age will just expose more people to counterfeit liquor, as they'll buy under the counter. Should have raised the fines x10 or more. Make it cost the vendor so much it is no longer worth it. it won't stop all of them, but a lot.
such a nice documentary
Zeff Tan, kudos to you sir
At 31:25 ...No, that doesn't look like a camera at all!!!!
🤣😂
Community pharmacist @ @ - are we to believe that he is using a genuine LV iPhone X case?
I'm no LV specialist, but a quick search online, I cant find that specific design.
-
He is warning others of the counterfeit goods, whilst using counterfeit goods himself?
Albeit, medicine is definitely more harmful and I applause his efforts of making it more known, but is he so hypocritical as to use a fake branded phone case?
-
Fake medicine? Bad
Fake phone case? Good :)
-
Hi everyone, my name Jeff~
A pharmacist who told you to check the quality of a mask by using a lighter. What do you expect?
This
At least first come first serve mentality..meaning if your the first to talk you got full attention..this is the game of the 20first century.
Same here in Philippines 👽 there's a lot of fake products and fake mask i guess, but the government didn't do any act for that😑
Fake items are for the fake peoples bragging to be at the top level... Be real & buy authentic. It doesn't has to be expensive as long its not counterfeits
Malaysia, truly Asia!
negligence gone unchecked
Kenapa nk beli ubat2 fake padahal produk kosmetk kt Malaysia ada yg BAHAYA? hahahahuhuhuhu sedeyhhhh
jutawan kosmetik timbang kilo lalalala
They're all from China. Malaysia and Indonesia need security like SG
Idk if ppl bought fake cloths but I draw the line of fake foods.
