Kokushibo has five forms to me 1. Undrawn sword, he literally just unsheathes it, killing an opponent and reshething it within the blink of an eye 2. Drawn out sword (Him vs Sanemi) 3. Long Sword (Him vs Gyomei and Sanemi after his kimono is ripped) this is his strongest "natural form* 4. Katanas coming out of his body sending moon blades flying everywhere 5. Full on Monster Kokushibo

The authors could've made the series a bit longer by creating a special arc for the uppermoon to participate in bloody battle for rank. Imagine all the moon demons going complete apeshit on each other and show off all of their blood demon art, who knows, maybe they got some secret one too that could shatter reality. This arc could also serve a better hindsight on who is ACTUALLY stronger than the other despite what their rank is.

He definitly bested Akaza at the very least or a previous rank 2 demon But Kokushibo quite litteraly killed all the other demons besides Akaza who tried to fight him, and its only bevause he respects Akaza's efforts and character. KNY wasted the upper moons by just introducing them as mere obstacles for tanjiro to overcome. It would have been extremely intersting if we got a KNY version of my villain academia from my hero which focused on the villians for an arc instead of the heros. Seeing uppermoon blood battles would have been amazing to see, douma vs kokushibo, maybe even gyokko and hantengu. So much missed potential here and woudlve been a great way to build suspense for the hashira and establish stakes

This is actually really well made.
KNY wasted the upper moons by just introducing them as mere obstacles for tanjiro to overcome. It would have been extremely intersting if we got a KNY version of my villain academia from my hero which focused on the villians for an arc instead of the heros. Seeing uppermoon blood battles would have been amazing to see, douma vs kokushibo, maybe even gyokko and hantengu. So much missed potential here and woudlve been a great way to build suspense for the hashira and establish stakes
