I visited registan square in 1985, and still have great memories of that place. Back then Samarkand was more authentic

I followed your advice to your travel guide. Unfortunately I was attacked by a gang of Tajiks. One of them knew English and they said “pass my guard bro” which I didn’t understand. Then he kicked me in the face and they castrated me. Thanks for the guide tho.
