    This is fantastic, Jeanette! I missed Shannon's video on this type of journal, but it looks like so much fun...a lot of work, too. It's no wonder you've been working on it for months. Very different from what I normally see, and the kind I like to make, I think it'd be fun to try. Debbie :)

      Hi Debbie and yes it's a large project, an ongoing type of project to be honest and I'm glad I went with a small version of it hahaha still it's a lot of fun to put together when I have a few minutes here and there. Thank you for watching :)

      I have to give this a try, I can see collecting papers pieces to use when I have a few minutes (and organize into themes!! Definitely have to do the alphabet pages). Yes...what a great way to use all the junk that comes in the mail. And to have an ongoing project, that would be so cool. I think you've just expanded my 'horizons'. Thank you...I think :)

    ooooooh it's looking sooo full and awesome!!! I love the cover! I was already admiring it when you said you didn't mean to have the baking paper be so opaque. I love that look, it looks..classy and for some reason it reminds me of a glazed type pottery...I can't recall a specific, just made me think of pottery...the muted colours and opaque look. Anyways I love it. Your pages are looking so full. I still have plenty of empty in mine but enjoy puttering at it when the mood strikes :)

      Stoneware pottery!!!!! I had to go google it, the cover reallllllly looks like a glaze effect they do on that...like bright colored but glazed that mutes it...cool stuff.

      Oh goodnes me it does too, haha, well there you go! I don't work in mine as often as I did a few months ago, mainly because life got a little hectic but it is fun to play with from time to time :) Thank you for stopping by Tracey :)

    Different but interesting. I think my favorite pages were the lace pages and the labels. Seems like a fun project. tyfs

    What else have you done with the baking paper? I would like to try something but so far haven't had an idea. I like the tags on your journal. Lovely work and looks really a kind of lot term project. Keep going and have a wonderful day Jeanette!

    • @MiCottageCrafts
      @MiCottageCrafts  8 років тому

      Hi there :) I have used it in my journals to back tags and also for making bags and envelopes and just adding some textures. It's easy to write on too so that's good. It is definitely a long term project, I made mine from a small book so that it's a little easier to fill up haha Thank you for watching :)

    As I'm watching yours and others glue-books videos, I'm thinking that everyone is exercising their creativity muscles to come up with sources for images. Are your creativity muscles getting a work-out? By the way, I like the parchment paper front. Makes it look mysterious and invites me in to take a peek.

    Amazing! How many hours have you invested doing this project?

    • @MiCottageCrafts
      @MiCottageCrafts  8 років тому

      haha well I have not idea how many, it's just something I pick up occasionally and glue a few bits in. A bit of fun in it's own way, thank you for watching :)
