Basically, Mattel booted out Henry and Edward from the steam team I think Toby was booted out for Emily but that was the classic series…sorta So Edward and Henry (the first charterers created by Wilbert Awdry) were taken out of Tidmouth sheds because apparently there are no other locomotive sheds on the island Edward’s case makes a little sense because he is know at Wellsworth, the station that his branch line starts at and it would be easier since his work is right there…but no matter what, wherever the driver and fireman live, they still need to get down to Wellsworth Henry was moved to Vicarstown to be close to his work…but I’m pretty sure all of his trains are located at Knapford, via the other side of the island Toby, makes a lot of sense because the shed he lives in now was from his old line that has been reopened I know the show was trying to make it equal but for Edward and Henry’s case it was obvious Mattel wanted them out as soon as possible because Nia and Rebecca were already planned and had merchandise in stock waiting…also sad reality, Big World Big Adventures was only made to sell merch of characters who would only be seen once or twice, either with a speaking role or cameo, but this has been happening since the Hit Entertainment era
Heyo Dan! :) Gosh, you're always equipped with a plethora of knowledge about the franchise, it's super awesome to see. I couldn't keep track of it all, so props to you for being able to do so. Wow, that's crazy how they already had a bunch of that stuff planned, although it makes sense from a business and finance standpoint unfortunately. It's nice that they haven't thrown the characters out completely, however, for people who consider them to be their favorite I'm sure that's very dissapointing. Have Nia and Rebecca always been apart of the Railway Series? It's fun to add in newer characters into any franchise, but for the sake of simply making merchandise out of them kind of stinks.
