- Shinsegae Centum City (신세계 센텀시티) Department Store, Busan is registered in the Guinness World Records as the largest department store in the world. This shopping centre has a countless number of items all under one roof. It is the proud landmark of Busan and a world-class shopping hub not to be missed.
There are so many entertainment options to keep you busy when visiting Centum City, Busan. Shinsegae, which opened the first department store in Korea, reflects decades of retail experience in this flagship location.
Some of the various entertainment facilities available include a spa, an ice rink, a theme park on the roof, a movie theatre, almost 200 restaurants, a golf driving range and over 10 floors of shopping to explore.
It is very easy to get to if you are visiting Busan, South Korea. Get on the line 2 subway to Centum City Station which is directly connected to Department Store. If you are in Haeundae Beach it is about a 15 min taxi trip.

What an amazing place ! I’ve never been to Busan :(
The only thing I don’t like Korea’s Department stores was , they don’t have a combine changing room like here in Australia.
Each stores have their own changing rooms so it was a bit painful but we ended up asking if we could use one changing room and they were perfectly ok with it haha.
You 100% need to come to Busan. We stay n Busan almost every weekend, we love it! Yeah some of the changing rooms are a bit strange, but we are used to it now! Come to Busan!!!
