Love your videos! Always look forward to you new ones. I can only shoot a sub 12 as I failed my medical… never been in trouble with the law, my uncle owns many acres of land but because I have depression they rejected me… anyway keep up the great work.👌🏽 Outdoor life heals many things…👍🏼
Simon, be careful we're not in our 20's anymore! I love that equipment on this hunt, when you had it dialed in, it was like daylight and clear at all distances! Well done as usual and have a great rest of your weekend! Be careful out there😀😀💪💪
Night vision has gotten so darn amazing. When I was in the Marines we had that 1st. Gen. & we thought that was just the bees knees; a step up from a starlight scope for sure. Nice shooting brother, great video. Thank you.
Great video Simon . I’m sure you can get some anti fog spray for the lenses . I had some it worked well . Keep up the great work . Well deserved laying out in those conditions take care 👍
Ye cheers Mark when i used to race Moto X we used to put fairy liquid in our googles top stop them steaming up on the start line i do reckon that will work as well pal.
Great clarity on the video on all of the distances and very accurate shooting Simon I know that you have the utmost respect for your query that shows a true sportsmen. The TD70 is a great setup. Cheers Simon and give Jack a pat for me
Great video as usual. I find leaving the scope and IR etc. in the garage/shed/car for an hour (including any drive) and let them get to outside temps prevents major fogging up, also use some Isopropal alcohol to wipe them, helps a lot.
Looks good that td70 compared to the old td50l daytime was rubbish if it was overcast and not to clever in sunlight or night vision mode. Keep up the good work. 👍
Hi there Simon I ended up with 35 foxes over about 300 lambing ewes with my Sako in .223 and the night vision and thermal you have shown in previous videos ( Hikmicro) . Thanks for your videos I learnt a lot from your style. I also saved a tonne by using night vision for the scope- people talked me out of getting one but as you show they are very capable on foxes. I use the tripod usually but there is no substitute for a bit of elevation and the bi-pod. I even got one in the nose to take the pelt. I have the 12 twist and have not used the 40gr as it would be suited to my barrel. No silencer allowed here in Australia and I think the higher velocity would crack a bit more than my nice slower 55gr. All the best. I also saw a rat the other day and thought of you. They are not common here and probably not worth a .223 round.
@@simon6ppc246 I have not tried the 40's because the 55s shoot so well but my barrel is probably designed for the 40's. I found even 53gr with higher velocity had a significantly higher muzzle blast. I should have a go just out of interest. All the best going into winter we are going into summer and it seems a bit early too.
I have been watching your videos for a while now Simon, and one thing you do has stood out in my thoughts, you respect every animal that is taken. That, to me, is the mark of a real Sportsman. Well done with these two livestock stealing faxes. You did what you were asked to do, and you did that very well. Thumbs up indeed!
Simon could you do a video on what is needed for mounting PBIR-X to a scope please? Just invested in a PARD NV007SP LRF and a PBIR-X.. not sure what to do next.. cheers from the West of Ireland!
Great video as always Simon, that TD70 scope looks nice and sharp . Are you reloading the 40's as Hornady have stopped making the 40gr cartridges .That's good that they work in a 1in 8 . I'm check out my mates new condor spotter shortly, he says I'm a bad influence.😄
Great video! I really enjoy it. I am new to night vision scope and I trying to learn how to use my Infiray TD50L. Could you please let me know what kind of bracket are you using to mount your IR illuminator on the TD70L?
Brilliant vid as usual, need to get another digital nv scope and this looks the business I have a wrath 4k max on my 223 at moment with a sniper hog coyote cannon ir but this seems so much better with little pixelation there seems to be a constant raft of new scopes coming out would you recommend your choice over the wraith 🤔thanks
Its between the Alpex C50 and TD70 Simon and all do the job but i honestly think for distance at night this TD70 has the edge but at normal distances they are all virtually the same.
Outfoxing the foxes again. With the way the owl and cat's eyes are so bright, and they are both looking in your direction, I'm wondering if their eyes are reflecting the IR light from your illuminator, and they can see it shining at them like a spotlight? Just a thought.
great video but i`ve just forgotten what was that infiray and the pb something illuminator ,you only told us about 20 times and it`s just slipped my mind
Hi Simon, I’ve recently been able to acquire a Sako 75A varmint 6mm ppc rifle. Great video! I really enjoy it. I am new to night vision scope and I trying to learn how to use my Infiray TD50L. Could you please let me know what kind of bracket are you using to mount your IR illuminator on the TD70L?

Nice video Simon! The IR illuminator at how many Nm do? 850 or 940 Nm?
Its an 850 pal.
Is the image you actually see through the scope the same as the video recording Simon?
Through the scope it always seems better for some reason Nigel but ye it not far off if i be truth full.
Excellent video again Simon, I am just back in from sorting a problem fox out as well. How do you rate the TD70 to the Pulsar C50? Are they on par or is 1 a lot better than the other?
At distance at night Bunny the TD70 does win but say average distances they are on a par.

How does the td70 up against the c50
At distance Gary at night the TD70 has the edge i think pal due to its 5.5 base mag

Alpex 4K 👌
@simon6ppc246 thanks si 🤙
Great vid as always simon ,which do tou prefer td70 or the alpex?
For distance at night deff the TD70 but say close up like ratting the Alpex pal due to both the base mag on either scope
👍👍👏👏😀

Ye it seems to but i wouldn't guarantee it does it every time pal.
Thanks for your reply. Keep up the good work 👍🏻
Looks pretty good to me! Come on then do you think the image is better than the Alpex🤔🦊🦊🎯👌
At distance Miker at night definitely with its 5.5 base mag but say close up like say 50 yards due to 3x base mag the Alpex probably has the edge.
