- Situated on Bolivar Island in south eastern Texas just south of Crystal Beach, Camp Margaritaville is absolutely amazing!!
You have to come at least once!!!
I should stay a week!!!

Do you think if that Tesla truck drives 88 mph it will go back to 1985? I miss riding that ferry, one of my favorite free activities. We LOVE Crystal Beach. That Camp Margaritaville was built as something else and was struggling and sold to Margaritaville. We attended an Easter sunrise service there in 2023. There are a ton of small RV parks in Crystal Beach. The last one we stayed at charged us $650 for the month with free electric and free washers and dryers. We would drive to the beach after work at 6pm and have the beach to ourselves. I love shopping at the Big Store and the security guy (John) yelling hello to everyone that enters. I think Everclear is scheduled to play at that campground in the future. There is Dollar General and Family Dollar, but those are the only chain businesses. We really appreciate that about Crystal Beach. Did you see the pizza machine? Wasn't it weird that all the showers were upstairs?
yeah I was told no BIG box stores are allowed on Crystal Beach thats why they have the BIG STore which was pretty cool - $650 good deal!! Look forward to going back next year
Beautiful property. Doesn't surprise me tho, Margaritaville is a great business. Jimmy Buffett was a smart businessman. RIP Jimmy!

I think the only "Chain" store in Valero gas and Dollar tree. Zero fast food. Sadly it will all change in the future. There is a lot of development coming including something bigger than Margaritaville
