      Peter is one of the most fluid JiuJitsu players I’ve had the pleasure to roll with. He’s one of Byron’s students and is as tough as nails.

    The wheeze that came from the brown belt during that butterfly pass is a clear indicator of the amount of PRESSURE thats in that pass

      First hip pin pass may work no gi but uke isn’t trying to strip your grips w his hands to get his feet on your biceps. No way will this wirk on some kids in my academy at marcelo Garcias.

    Absolutely beautiful. I see this harmonious convergence of details amongst the old school thought leaders in BJJ. I see Roy Dean point something out, and it triggers a memory of seeing Carlos Machado do the same thing... and it's reminiscent of something I saw Pedro Sauer do... and then Roy Dean mentions Relson showing him a thing... So few BJJ schools are truly systematic in their thinking, but this kind of stuff is where the system emerges.

    When people pass my guard like that I hit my favorite sweep, the top shoulder roll.

  • @AskariArt
    @AskariArt 3 роки тому

    Professor Roy Dean is putting on the pressure with that shoulder, you can see it in the brown belt's face. LOL I bet he feels like a 2 tons. It doesn't even look like he's trying in the demonstration 😀

    This whole thing with the guard passing is silly to me. Because in a self defense situation I could care less, I would disengage or kick the guy in the kahoonas and walk away and let the guy lay there on the ground like a baffoon with his legs spread eagle! Same in a sport situation, if I'm in someone's guard they don't necessarily have the advantage. I'm not going to lay there and try to do all of that ridiculous maneuvering. A lot of these newer BJJ guys have lost the art of efficiency with too much bs!! Moving someone's legs out of the way is not that freakin hard, come on!!

  • @JL-ro6xg
    @JL-ro6xg 2 роки тому

    Next time change the guy, because his face expressions are annoying when you try to show us a move !! It’s like he is giving birth or something
