The Batsotso cultural festival every end year is one that is meant to showcase the cultural heritage of the subgroup of the Luhya community famed for wrestling, bullfighting and hunting down wild birds. This year, the event was meant to be politics-free but the actual event turned out to be a stage for a turning point for the region.
