the difference is to me is that one seems to be worn by someone sloppy, didnt bother to take care/clean their expensive shoes, the other is just a newer pair of shoes that was barely worn lol
You should have another real one cause remember they are hand made so it could just be a flaw in the shoe it self
The only giveaway I saw at first glance was the heel. The fakes usually are too flat. I didn't even notice stitching until he pointed it out.

Most replicas will not match the the grey throughout the shoe. This is evident with the insole and also if you looked deeper into the shoe, the padding will not be the same. The tab inside the shoe will not match the number on the box. There is also a plastic upside down U shape on the real pairs

Another common error in fakes is that the tag has weird spacing between letters (Mainly the M and the A in Made In China). Also, the TM mark above on the side of the adidas tag should be on the side of it not directly above it. And there should be a barely noticable spot above the qr code which is an intended thing by adidas. On the Replica it looks way darker.
Also like he said the heel over time stickjs out more over use so if you're comparing a used pair then keep that in mind as it's a common mistake.
