The History of the Long Beach Motorsports Walk of Fame

The Long Beach Motorsports Walk of Fame has become a staple of the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach since 2006. Each year, the Walk of Fame recognizes two individuals who have made major contributions to the sport of auto racing in the city. A kick-off ceremony is held to induct the members and present them with a bronze medallion that is permanently placed on South Pine Avenue in downtown Long Beach.
