Luna absolutely blows away pro tools and studio one…. Which I used both for years… I love the workflow and the color and warmth of the sound it gives to every song I work on it just can’t be matched by pro tools or studio one without analog gear in house… keep it up universal audio you care more about improvements than pro tools ever has and at this point I think you have released more updates that are actually helpful than pro tools has in their existence.
PT has significantly more versatility in how it allows you to route audio in the box, and there is really nothing Luna offers in terms of editing or mixing that PT has not had since V 2010. Saying Luna blows PT away seems to just buy into the hype that all the UAD stuff has THE SOUND ! ! ! that no other DAW can offer. The plugins are amazing, but I can get the same result using Console into PT and not have to sacrifice any of the signal path options I currently rely on for my workflow.
I have cubase artist, I exported my drum bus and instrument bus an dragged it into luna, but the reverb and send fx we're not included, how do I fix this?

Well, Routing to Bass from Instrument does not work at all. I cannot use MIDI track?.. And I cannot use Vienna Ensemble Pro 6 (gives error). No video track. Thus, this is useless DAW for orchestral composing, and for movie composers.
Is there a way to commit or freeze a track? I'm running into issues with DSP and CPU overload. All the other DAWS have the feature to either commit, bounce in place, or freeze a track to save on CPU.
I’ve encountered a problem multiple times after I record an audio track then add an effect sound no longer comes out of that track even though the monitor bars show that their is sound playing.

I opened the new Luna on my M1 and no matter where or how I click, it selects all. For the life of me, I don't know if it's an issue with M1 or some simple setting I've somehow missed. Any help?
Best skeumorhpic GUI design award goes to... I mean, damn. Looking "authentic" enough without being cheesy. At the same time flat just enough to be modern. Great colors and use of space as well. I know it's all about the sound, but for me, as a designer, this is porn

How does Luna handle dither? I I can’t find info about this anywhere. Logic has a dither option I can use or I can add dither in the last plugin on my master bus. Please advise how you intend us to address dither on export. Thanks.
@@UniversalAudio Thanks for the reply. Perhaps a small note can be added in the export section advising of this. I exported a 16 bit master and added dither in Ozone because nowhere did Luna let me know they where going to do that for me. So I ended up with a double dithered master which of course is not desirable. The ability to turn the auto-dither feature off would be very useful for some of us as well. Thanks again.

Thanks but no use in checking out luna if its not compatible with everything.. but feel free to reach out when ever your company decides to expand to a broader audience because it seems that a lot of windows users are turning to studio one and waves servers. They could switch to Luna and uad dsp if it was compatible..but don't mind me im just a windows based uad apollo and waves soundgrid server owner. Keep up the good work...

They need commit and support for all plugins. A lot of plugins crash. It's still not quite there yet but love using it!

An option to stereo process mono tracks is urgently needed. Luna is amazing; light years ahead of Logic and better than Protools

You can use the Mixdown feature and then drag the file back in. This is the current workflow until we add Freeze.

We've not yet released an M1 qualified version of LUNA. Please let support know your findings.
When I export as tracks it bypasses all of the volume automation I painstakingly created. How can I export tracks that retain the volume automation?

It's not clear how to export a full mix. I'm sure I'm missing something but I can't simply export a full mix in one file.
Mixdown command, the Main boxed will be auro-checked. It's your 2 mix.
I am having trouble finding my Waves plugins in Luna. Any ideas?
Make sure the Audio Units versions are installed. Also, LUNA will not show stereo plugins on mono tracks.

LUNA auto dithers as needed. If you don't want it added, export at the current bit depth.

does Luna have a Master Fader option kinda like Protools where you can have multiple master faders?
Sure, you can make/use as many buses/subgroups as you like that all feed the main out.

There aren't Master faders the way PT does them, but you can use a bus track as a stereo bus master just as you'd use an Aux Input in PT as a master.

Sure, you can export from Logic as an AAF.

AAF only brings in clips and files, not plugins. You'd have to manually copy them over.

That was so so much more complicated than doing the same thing in Pro Tools that the title should be edited to say "nevermind the intro"
