Thank you very much for your tutorial. I have installed kangaroo but I can not see the components that you are using in the tutorial. I don't see KangarooPhysics or SpringsFrom Mesh can you tell me what is the problem?
Hi, i have a question: i have WB installed but i can use it only from GH, in rhino i don't have the button and i can't use the command _wbthicken . How can i solve it? Thanks in advance
hi i followed all the step but when i insert gravity and start with kangaroophysics the surface is not curved like a vault but flat exception made for the end triangle where there are the anchor points, how i can resolve it ?
There is no component Springs in my Kangaroo2 Utility. Is there another component that I can take instead / Where do I download the missing Utility content ? Current Utility Range : DotDisplay, InterconnectPoints, MöbiusTransformation, RemoveDuplicateLines, RemoveDuplicatePoints, SplitAtCorners Many regards !
Great tutorial as always! It worked perfectly when I started with a rectangle surface like you did in the tutorial, but then when I tried to start with a trimmed surface like a pentagon surface,I get stuck when I try to use Mesh Surface component. It only generate a mesh with zigzag boundary, and the outcome from solver component is a mess. How can I perfectly mesh a pentagon surface?Thank you in advance!
Hi. Request you to please put some videos related to Origami components in Kangaroo 2. I would love to explore some architectural forms then. Thank you.
one question: At the end of this Definition that data all funnels into a "geometry" component, I'm trying to use the mesh generated here to affect some further change, but my output has all this other data and can't plug into a mesh component.. i'm forced to bake then reimport.. i'm wondering if i'm missing something or there is a work around to be able to plug the output from KG into a clean single mesh? Thanks!
hello! ive been trying to use this but everytime i use vertex loads in kangaroo 2 it sends my mesh down or up infinitely.. do you know what is the reason for this?
Hi, great tut... I follow up to the point where you use thickness command....what is that command? I use offset mesh but it gives bad intersections 🤔 thanks
Hey thank you for the video! Just one question - how do you make the component name bubbles show up? I always have to group them and name them individually
How do you make Grasshopper to automatically show the name of each component, as if you created a group name tag over each one of the components? Currently, the only way I know to display the names of components is by turning off the "Draw Icons" in the "Display" menu. But I find it to be more visually appealing to make what you do on this video. Thanks for the tutorial, keep up with your great work!
Hi. I just need to know one thing: what's your Kangaroo's version? 'Cause in all versions I've tried I can't find the 'SpringsFromMesh' tool. I'm completly lost :/
Hi Be sure to install the Kangaroo physics plugin not Kangaroo 2....Kangaroo physics has a series of user objects which you can add to the plugin and one of them is springs from mesh
Oh if there is a godbeloved person, it should be most probably you, you and you. Thank you! Keep being in UA-cam, I'd like to drink some beer some day with you, wherever you would be living
@@ParametricHouse hey, couldn't you help to understand, that what you doing in 16:44 (connecting the edge length or anchor points to Solver (Goalobjects), which already has been connected to the Mesh). I am afraid it is not working with me, if I connect anchor point to Solver(Goalobjects), other parameter disconnects from the Solver automatically :(
Hi Ken! What's the problem with your installation? You can also check the official Kangaroo page for more info. www.food4rhino.com/app/kangaroo-physics
Maybe this helps. Go to file , special folders, component folder and find kangaroo files. Right click on them and go to properties and click on unblock.
Hey thank you !!!! Parametric House for this amazing video. This surely helped us to start, learn and know more about Kangaroo and grasshopper. Really Sir!! a great help, here in India parametric design teaching in school are rare and this is something we have to explore by our own. Your video really teaches us a lot and clears our doubt. Keep it up Sir !! and love from India. Also I'll like to know do you have a patreon account, I'll like to contribute as per my capacity.
Hi Akash Happy to hear it was useful for you. New video tutorials will be coming on Saturdays, Mondays, and Wednesdays. you can support us by buying our grasshopper course, on our website. parametric3d.com/en/grasshopper-tutorial
I can't pass by with just a small like without a comment... Great tutorial Sir! Thank you so much...
Glad you liked it!
Thank you very much for your tutorial.
I have installed kangaroo but I can not see the components that you are using in the tutorial.
I don't see KangarooPhysics or SpringsFrom Mesh
can you tell me what is the problem?
what could be the reason for the second set of anchor points not working for kangaroo 2?
you saved my life
Great tutorial! Thanks from China
You're welcome😊
Wow! I didn't know, Rhino is so powerful as this, so amazing! Very nice tutorial, thank you...
Thank you! You really helped me to understand it!
why after downloading the kangaroo 0.09 i still haven't gotten the kangaroo physics and zombie kangaroo?
Thank you so much for such a great video and a wonderful explanation of Kangaroo2!
🙏
Hi Great tutorial, but I don't know why my Kangaroo Physics is different from yours, it don't even have the Kangaroo Physics component.
You are so great! Thank you!
Tanx
Thank you! I'm totally new to kangaroo. I feel it really helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Nice done! Great kangaroo explained basics!
🙏
A bigineer question: How could you connect multiple GoalObject values on single node? For me it only accepts 1 input.
Be sure to hold shift while connecting ;)
Thank you :) The best tutorial .
You're welcome!
Hey man love ur videos! kangaroo physics is not in thino 7. I installed the kangaroo version 0099, but it still doesn’t appear. Any help?
Great video! thank you! but I have a problem where solver couldn't receive multiple input!
You should use shift key to add multiple goals to the solver
Thank you very much

hello, in my plugins tab i got kangaroo2 but cant find kangaroo. where do i download it ?
hello
You can find it here: www.food4rhino.com/app/kangaroo-physics
I have a question, how do you have the mesh pull from a solid edge and not the points at the corners?
Thanks for your so helpful tutorial! It’s very helpful for me!
🙏
You just saved a life :)
Great :)
Kangaroo2 part starts at 12:50
exactly :)
Great Tutorial guys!!
Thanks Valentina😊

I take Loads, is there a better one ?
Thank you, awesome tutorial. Would love to see examples of the other functions/buttons in kangaroo 2 not covered here.
You're welcome. Maybe in the future I will add more tutorials about Kangaroo

Be sure to have a complete Nurbs surface or if you don't remodel the surface with a pure Nurbs surface commands like networksrf or loft
This video can help. Its long but a real solution "[Grasshopper] Introduction to Kangaroo and algorithmic modelling of Musmeci Bridge"
thank you

Try decreasing the force magnitude. It has to be a small one perhaps
Great video! Weaverbird tutorial would be great
great video, really...it will take a while to digest but brilliant stuff!
Thanks
Hello my kangaroophysics missing in my package :( how can i?
Question! What if the surface is not a square but a circle? I tried your method but it's not working and the Kangaroo turned red.
If you want to use another surface be sure to convert it properly to mesh. Kangaroo works with mesh
Hi, great tut... I follow up to the point where you use thickness command....what is that command? I use offset mesh but it gives bad intersections 🤔 thanks
Thanks😊you can use weaverbird's mesh thicken tool. Download it from here
parametric3d.com/en/weaverbird
Hello, thanks for the introduction...is it possible using kangaroo 2 with a non rectangular or square surface like circular or triangular one?
As long as you have a mesh model you can convert it to a series of springs
Oh snap! Vertex is on!
B+ for effort
Hey thank you for the video! Just one question - how do you make the component name bubbles show up? I always have to group them and name them individually
Bifocals plugin
Amaze. Thank you.
Can someone tell me how to add the springfrommesh I do not have that option.
It's a gluster which you should put them into user object folder.
hi, thank you a lot for that tutorial! which versions were you using? My grasshopper keeps crashing all the time (using mac)
Try using Kangaroo 2
How do you make Grasshopper to automatically show the name of each component, as if you created a group name tag over each one of the components?

I looooove you man !

When I double click on the kangaroo physics, nothing shows up. the little window doesn't pop up. Do you know why it won't show ?
It doesn't work on Kangaroo2, i guess ir's only for Kangaroo physics
Parametric House I fixed it thanks !
Parametric House also can you have more than 4 anchor points ? I tried with six but it doesn’t look like it’s working
@@marthylda How did you fix it? I am having the same issue on a Mac, installed both 0.099 and 2.
What software do you use for drawing in the screen while recording?
